Legit, man you made an excellent choice with the Rane One. I’ve had mines now for about 2 years and I live it. I also have the Rane 12’s, but just like you stated, they are to big to carry around all the time as a mobile DJ. So the Rane One was perfect. Great video 👊🏽

On thing I don't Luke about the performer is the screen in the middle. After watching your video, I may have a change of heart to the rane one. I would like to see them make a little bigger rane one. Man oh man, when I tell you this Innofader I put in it is the truth!!! Best crossfader I've personally ever used! Gotta make that Innofader replacement video soon so you can see how easy it is to replace.
I installed an Innofader on my Rane One. But after less than a year it started acting funny and the crossfader point was all over the place. I tried to reset it a million times and other different things to fix it but nothing... so I ended up reinstalling the Mag 4. All good.
Congrats on the pick up! I just copped mines at the end of 2022 and loving it. Started on belt drives in 88 and my 1st controller was the Vestax VCI-300 when it came out and had to pick up the VCI-380 after. After trying out my buddy's Numark NS7 I really needed a controller with moving platters. My 1200s has not left the house ever since and my back feels waay better lol Enjoy & rock out!
Love your attitude and 100% agree! Who cares if it’s 3 years old? Most DJs today need the latest and greatest just like the new iPhone even though it is not necessary. Back the. We held on to our mixer and 1200’s for YEARS and never thought about upgrading.

Your Rane One is Sharp looking! How long have you been doing DJ events and gigs? I thought you started out on turntables? I like your comment about Not being worried about the effects being on board. I'm kinda confused about the importance of built-in on board effects. What is the big deal? Why do so many say I want built-in on board effects Is it that huge of a difference?
Thanks!! I started DJing part time in 2009. My first ever DJ gig was a wedding I did in Dec 2009 for $250 lol. On board effects are a big deal to DJs like Nick Spinelli, but to many other DJs, we could really care less. Plus a lot of DJs hear their favorite DJ say you must have them, so they just repeat what they heard lol. Very common in the DJ world. And yes, I will say there is a big difference. On board effects do sound much better so if your DJ style uses a lot of effects frequently then this is something that may be important to you. However software effects sound decent too. 👌 😊
Love the rane one but question though brother...why didn't you go with the Hercules T7? Ever since I got mine a few months ago that things is a monster. Spinning platters and only 11 pounds
I bought a Rev 5 last year. It was a a hard choice between Rev 5 and the Rane 1. I went with the Rev5 just for the stems. But that Rane 1 does look so nice the way you personalized it. Rev5 doesn't have motorized platters and you can't personalize that much. Enjoy that Rane 1. Great purchase.

@@DJ2Legit007 Just remapping on Serato. Probably the same with VDJ. I think the Rev 5 has a bit more control with stems with unmuting multiple levels (Vocal, mid, bass, etc) of stems. Can the Rane bring back those sounds with 1 push? Or do you have to press them individually back?
@@DJ2Legit007 You are now making me wish I did go Rane 1. Haha. I went from an SR2 and remapped for stems, but didn't care for it on that controller. The price difference isn't that much different on a new Rane 1 and Rev5. Like $200.
Ive had 4 of these controllers and ive had a issue with them all. Not only myself but several other guys in my area has had the same issue. There is audio distortion. I have a P.C. with all the right specs , all cords are new and i use external hard drives. If anyone has a solution i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
So sorry to hear that. So far mine has been Rock solid, although I've only had it about 6 weeks. Also I can definitely say it has a great sound. It sounds better than my DDJ-1000.
My first professional controller was the SX2. The Rev5 is a really good controller as well, however if you like the look and feel of moving platters, the Rane One is the way to go, at least for me! I love watching those platters spin while I'm DJing. Plus I love scratching so it's a no brainer for me. Let me know if you end up buying one.
Hey hey hey. Don’t call my rev Weird 😂. Congrats on the rane 1. We both had the 800. I love that controller. I have both the rane 1 and rev 7 I had the 1 first I loved it but when I got the rev 7 I had buyer remorse too I was like why do I have two controllers that are the same practically. At first I was thinking I made a mistake. It want until I used it more and more that the rane just sits down stairs in the basement collecting dust. I definitely agree with the custom platters for the rane plus the spindle needle as u can use it too speed up or slow down. But with the rev I I can use my logo. On the screen if I wanted I also noticed I never look at the screen as I was with the rane They both are a great buys but with stems now man the rev 7 way easy as I remapped the 4 buttons on the top To each own but the rev is more like original turn tables because if u don’t have it battle style n try to Dj u will be hitting the handle when scratching since it will be in the way. So that’s what the battle style good cuz when you go to a real turn table setup u will get lost. Now for the effects wow !!!! I wasn’t an effects guy until I used the rev n all I’m gonna say is wow. Night and day from the rane 1 imma be honest I really bought it for a stupid reason. The echo on the mic 😂 hahah finally can tell the truth but I don’t regret it I wish it was solid like the rane. But mines in a case any way. Last thing. U are correct no matter which 1 u use especially like both of us that started on controllers when I got the rane I thought I made a mistake since I’ve never had turn tables. It took some time bout a week of playing with it then I put the 800 to the side lol and as you said I used the rev so much that when I tried to Dj on a friend controller it caught me off guard. But it was like riding a bike took me like 30 mins to get back that feeling So what I do now is still practice on both rev and regular controller. But the fun is in the motorize controller for sure. Sorry 4 long post. N congrats for the purchase and anyone on the fence they rev 7 n rane 1 are both good buys can go wrong with either 1

Congrats on your Rev7 purchase! Like you said, you can't really go wrong with either. Buy both of them or get the one that speaks to your heart the most. And btw, I still own my DDJ-800 too. Lol 😂

on the front the button for the scratching moves many are using the gel tape ........heavy scratching moves the noobs i use the blue painters tape they no longer move
Yep. I know exactly what you're talking about. I also added a small piece of tape to the inside of mine weeks ago. It doesn't move at all now unless I manually move it.
I'm an intermediate scratcher and I replaced the crossfader with an Innofader. Smooth as butter to me! No complaints here. My stock fader was defective.

Rev 7 is not built as well from what others say. I am considering the Rane one! Whats the x fader like for advanced scratching?

I keep my VDJ updated and yes, I have it with stems too. Just push one button and bam, all my stem buttons appear!
