    Searching the landfill would be like searching for a needle in a haystack.

      Not necessarily its only 34 days on compact thier have been these scenarios and rhey have found missing parts or whole bodies in landfills before. I think they shouldn't waste time and get on it. Then it will definitely turn into needle haystack after 60 days 😔💔

      @Oodles of Noodles the rcmp stated in the press conference as of two days ago 34 days now its 36 days. I'm only referencing it to other articles I read were bodies were recovered after months under landfill. I think atleast a memorial somewere near there. And also the "Buffalo women" that was only identified as a 3rd person from the baby phat jacket. So thiers a Jane doe in the landfill beside the mom so fkd up. 💔😓

    She doesn't understand those women's bodies were turned into jam & spread all over by the bulldozers, then covered by more dirt & garbage. And now its frozen, so the odds of the dogs finding anything is slim to none.

    Very sad indeed. Some insane killer, and innocent peoples lives are forever impacted. What's confusing though, is with 5 children, and apparently strong community support based on this outcry, why was she living on the street?

    • @HELLWAGONTV
      @HELLWAGONTV 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s because they say indigenous women are abused more on the Rez. Raped and beaten by family members. Drugged, passed around. So they run away to the streets where it’s “better”.

      @Oodles of Noodles I know 35 tonns is ridiculous but it could be of something. Only thing I would be worried about is how to safely send someone to sift through the landfill without getting hurt themselves

    Condolences to the victims' families and all, but the Winnipeg police barely do jack all about the local idiots holding up the 711s near schools in broad daylight; Don't hold your breath about getting a legitimate response

    I would REALLY like to see them make an effort.
    The reality being that, even the best trained cadaver dogs would have a tough time in a landfill.
    For the sake of public relations and the outside hope, at LEAST make an effort !!

    • @Buckshot99
      @Buckshot99 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are in a no win spot. If they search and don’t find them, not trying hard enough cause racism. Find parts of 1 body in 8 months and then spend the next 8 years and billions of dollars to find nothing.

    sad that the po po will only spend 6 months and millions to recover a non indigenous person in a landfill, but not a cent or one day to investigate or recover the body of an indigenous person who they've known the place of for months.

    • @thefly373
      @thefly373 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      When did they spend that much time recovering someone else from a landfill in Winnipeg? I'm assuming the WPS budget and manpower is pretty small.

    • @geelangfordo3272
      @geelangfordo3272 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In order to properly search you need engineering teams to find the approximate location and then heavy equipment teams to excavate. This isnt something the police just have the capability to do. Outside experts will be needed to do the job properly. Just trying through looking for pulverized remains with pitchforks is more or less pointless.
