I'd love for you to do a vid on the television, streaming platforms, re what you mention at 1:10-1:25 or so. The Clarity Vx is great! All-in-all a great educative video!! Thank you.
Thanks. I'm considering doing a video about loudness for TV and streaming platforms if enough people are interested. I'll wait to see what other comments I get about it but I'm thinking about it.
Fantastic video, I'm glad there's great content out there to show how these plugins work before I purchase them. I'm a fan of WLM meter, but didn't know it's true potential until now. Lots of alternatives to bigger names to, time to start a shopping list
WLM is a very well featured loudness meter and provides various different loudness weightings for different purposes. In terms of value it's probably the best. I use WLM and Nugen VisLM.
You are just GREAT! Can i ask you for a video, that can help us all - Talking about Cinema Theater audio standards and levels, about Dolby codecs used in DVD/BluRay , internet torrent rips and so on ... how to deal with them , when are they in use, how to prepare our 5.1 film mix for them to not be smashed when a codec processes the signal, and the METADATA - when, how exactly, how much to set, to be sure when our 5.1mix will be played in the cinema , it will remain at the same levels as i made it in the studio.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
That's true. TH-cam will only turn down louder videos to hit the target level but quiet videos don't get turned up. This is most likely the cause of the inconsistencies.
Fantastic video, thanks Paul. I'd also be interested in a loudness video.

You make the most useful content on youtube for me since at least 10 years

🎬 great video !!!
I’d be very interested in a loudness/mastering video to know how loudness fits into a final dub.
Sure. It's a big topic but I'll put a loudness based video together soon!
