Man I made the mistake of playing valhalla after beating ghost of tsushima and I am so disgusted by the combat in valhalla I've already uninstalled it. How could the combat be so bad in a game that's based on combat 😅😅😅 I see the same thing in this and the new AC shadows coming out. Bad bad bad combat.
Considering you only have the sword and dagger to use i would've expected more than just one continuous animation all the time with each encounter. There's no style anymore, ik ac3 was easy but the style and design of the combat was sick and then even syndicate had gritty violent combat now this just looks basic as hell!! Same goes with its sodin parkour style
@@R9o8-o8o the combat is two buttons, counter left bumper, attack right bumper. No combos, no other weopons than the sword and dagger and all other assassins creed games have stealth that is jo different to this so that was such a stupid thing to say. Face it, mirage is crap.

Kind of wish combat was an improved version of Unity. I really liked Unity's combat because it was satisfying and challenging. But too bad they were using the Valhalla engine and combat is still like a hitbox system. It's an improvement though as it felt sluggish in a good way, discouraging you to go berserk on enemies
Yeah. Lowkey i think some of the faults in this are more just the engine itself since it was made for games like valhalla rather than the movements of the og engine. But give or take a few years to mod the engine and hopefully we can get something like the og games…After shadows…Hopefully thats the last rpg one cause god almighty is that game gonna flop. I heard rumors it might be the last one but i dunno.

The combat is still heavily RPG-influenced, and the animations are so clunky compared to smooth-cinematic animations in Ghost of Tsushima. And what's the ridiculous teleport at the beginning of the video? they really can't make the animations like Fear-multi takedown in Batman Arkham or Chain Assassination in GOT, didn't they? There are no "roots" here guys.
I was hoping for a change in the assassin's creed gameplay mechanic's more parry and block technique and less rbg mechanics like batman arkham series, Shadow of Mordor/ of war and Sifu and other great titles
When people say "AC3 combat is so simple." never played Assassins Creed Syndicate. Same mechanics, but extremely hard and in depth. This whole new RPG feel to the latest AC titles feels and looks like they're hitting their enemies with pool noodles. Syndicate/Black Flag/Unity were the last AC games that I've played.
The game is alright. Nothing may make you go “wow” it’s a solid experience. I’d give it a 7/10 cause I think the story is weak. Combat is ok but it can get old pretty fast as it’s not deep like ghost of Tsushima or SIFU.
I feel like there’s a good foundation here but damn, the combat still looks so… floaty. There’s no weight behind those swings, enemies just take them like they’re being hit with paper.

You know… I got into assassins creed because it looked realistic, with cool moves and acrobatic parkour, and now the swords are glowing green and they added way too much slowmo bits. I’m not buying any more ac games until they cull all the Skyrim and Witcher whack as well as the floating numbers everywhere. If I wanted that I’d go get a PS1 and play crash bandicoot and it would look more authentic which is saying something
I like how there are pleople that want pvp in ac but for now the combat is like the first who attacks lose cuz parry is so ez so is like inpossible to fight if they arent npcs

Lo de matar varios objetivos a la vez en "piloto automático" y teletransportándote me parece una aberración. Creo que eso era totalmente innecesario, me aburre solo de verlo pues no me quiero imaginar jugándolo XD No voy a decir si es bueno o malo porque no lo jugué, pero esta clase de cosas no me alientan mucho a probarlo.
Yo me quejo del combate porque es tosco y molesto, en los juegos de AC de antes del origins el personaje realmente peleaba y parecía hasta una película en cada animación, ahora los enemigos solo son esponjas y los ataques del protagonista parecen no relacionarse en lo más mínimo con quien pelea. Te recomiendo chequear el sistema de pelea de los anteriores y éste
I enjoy the game but does any one else find it funny how tailored for easy stealth the ai is once you get spotted it’s not long til they completely forget about you then just drop their guard
I just finished Black Flag and loved it… so I came here to see the new game… I was excited until I saw that combat against a bunch of enemies.. looks terrible lol
I keep seeing people complain about this games graphics and combat. I can't believe its this game theh are talking about. This is some of the best in the whole franchise. Its only real rival is AC3. And the Graphics are buttery smooth. Ill never understand how its the new cool thing to hate on the next entree until the next one comes out and then its remembered fondly. Just like Halo.
I don’t understand the hate on this game, I really enjoy playing it especially in Arabic, the voice acting is good the reason some people don’t like it is because intonation sounds different but if you understand Arabic like myself it’s really awesome.🤩
I'm completely dissappointed on how the combat gameplay is, i thought they were gonna use the old games system but nope, now only sponge enemies with such an uncomfortable and heavy fighting style
Great white sharks are demons of the world war and problem with them are they in their prime or is that demon souls and ghosts sharks have been great white shark and Nile crocodiles and monsters and assassin ghosts crocodiles have the best of all time they can Nile crocodiles great white sharks except the scariest one

Shay in AC Rogue used a sword and dagger so the combat could've been more like that
Syndicate has the worst combat in the entire franchise. Mirage is based on stealth so this combat system is more adjusted to that

On hard difficulty, they detect you faster, search for you more, they deal more damage and have more health.
