If anyone can help me improve my question mark kick, it's gotta be Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson! Love the instructional/technique videos, but all of your stuff is top notch! I'm a big fan of yours, and Sensei Seth is always a great guest in your videos cuz the rapport feels really genuine and your humorous delivery perfectly compliments one another.
Hey, just wanna say props to Wonderboy when Seth was explaining the lead leg question mark kick Stephen essentially created his own version on the spot with the fake hook kick into the head kick which would work because the opponent would likely bring their block to the opposite side of where the kick was intended to land, very creative sir👏
The lead leg question mark kick is the one I want to get good at right now. It definitely doesn't have as much power as throwing with the rear but it's so disrespectful if you can land it consistently. It's the Stockton slap of kicks haha.
Ok the very last one wonderboy did in the air I think is the original version because it went straight up and on the same axis down as opposed to what looked like the roundhouse kick version they were doing on the bag.
Had a set back with my back surgery therapy, hopefully my body can do this again soon. Been too many years since I could throw a high kick much less a question mark
@@RyanBadial-y4k well I finally healed from almost completely tearing all the ligaments in my lower back, I'm back to be able to do a turning side kick to the body with my cane. I also have a rod and pins in one leg so that leg is useless for head kicks and I can only do stretches lol. It was so bad I needed a month of massages, ultrasound/scraping tool/hand massage to get me about back to where I was before my back got frayed so I'm still pushing myself, just slower and safer
Tht last move is harder to land, most people I spar keep they hands up. its better to bring their hands down to their body with the front kick. Maybe when they get lazy u can catch them off guard
I've been thinking about this for a little while now, and I think you and Sensei Seth are the men to figure it out. The question mark kick is a great technique, but can you develop a "Question Mark Punch"? Must have the same angle of attack change. Maybe set up with lead hand jab, jab, fake lead uppercut, lead hand hook. Thoughts?
I’m somehow the opposite: my left leg is better than my right for question mark kicks. maybe because I’ve trained my right leg for big power roundhouse/front kicks, so it lacks the dexterity compared to my left.
Did anyone notice that Bob the dummy, that they were kicking, looks a lot like Wonderboy's Dad. Could there be some Freudian psychology underpinning somewhere in there?
I feel like i have potential to be a fantastic kicker trapped inside the body of the least flexible person on earth. Also having shorter legs & a longer torso probably isnt doing me any favors 😔

Izzy also uses leg kicks to lower his opponent's guard.

You notice that you create something different went you train so much
Hell yeah enjoy that fellas keep up the good work.😎👊
Whoa some nice kicks there and opening the vault to see Glaube Feitosa getting it done . Respect
This is the best place to learn martial arts, with The Boy Wonder!

Glaube Feitosa threw it with knockout power. I wanna learn how to do that😅😂
That one @5:25 of the vid is my go to question mark kick. My favorite kick switch up

“I bet you can’t land a question-mark kick”
…so you’ve chosen death
Fantastic Techniques! Thankyou sirs for sharing!
Looking forward to seeing you use this technique in your next fight!
that lead leg snap roundhouse Sensei Seth does is similar to a kick we do in Goju-Kai karate👍🏽
I’m already working on both!
That Michael Jackson comparison is hilarious!
Glaube Feitosa was the Brazilian who had a fantastic questionmark kick!
His is basically a reverse axe kick. It's insane
Seth's question mark kick is surprisingly good.
Again. Chubby suprise. =))
Definitely have used it in point fighting. Good stuff
Thanks Steven. I tried this on my great aunt and it seemed to do the trick
Ok the very last one wonderboy did in the air I think is the original version because it went straight up and on the same axis down as opposed to what looked like the roundhouse kick version they were doing on the bag.
Wonderboys kick looks sooo much cleaner: 4:36 ....... Dude has such clean knockouts on UFC camera. MY MAN!!
Well explained, thanks
Amazing kick Stephen & Sensei Seth! I'm going to practise this and use it in my next karate training🥋👊👍
Cool video thanks guy's. 👍
I was already messing with this but didn't know what it was actually called. Great video and I like the variations.

Yee-hee, I’m fixing my question mark kick tonight with some gummy knee action, yee-hee, thank you very much!
Technique 2sday baby!
Gotta make sure your selling those low strikes to get their guard down.
Had a set back with my back surgery therapy, hopefully my body can do this again soon. Been too many years since I could throw a high kick much less a question mark
Just stretch everyday and it’ll hpppem eventually

Rose Namanunes? Somebody gonna take your NMF belt if you keep messing up the names!
Awesome Video!
Glaube Feitosa from the kyokushin roots. Os!
ST acting like he never seen that “front snap round” kick before. He literally hits dudes with it all the time 💪
Favorite fighter on ufc 5
The Sick Kick is what I call it cause it looks cool and the recipient won't feel too good when it hits them.
Tht last move is harder to land, most people I spar keep they hands up. its better to bring their hands down to their body with the front kick. Maybe when they get lazy u can catch them off guard
Reinforce the Pavlov response with some jabs, make them think hands are high, legs are low.

I dont know why but this Nama Nunas thing kills me 😂😂😂😂
Thanks so much

Normal People: Question Mark Kick
Me: Overfoot Right
I’m somehow the opposite: my left leg is better than my right for question mark kicks. maybe because I’ve trained my right leg for big power roundhouse/front kicks, so it lacks the dexterity compared to my left.
A Technique Tuesday inside a Technique Tuesday?! 🤯 🙏🏼
My area news channel later this evening: "local man launches knee ligaments into space, possibly violating air space laws"
Luke Rockhold has a really nice wobbly question mark kick too.
Was that a slingshot kick at the end? 👀
Sensei looks good with this haircut
Thai dudes always tryna grab my leg I usually feint the kick and get in a free 1-2 but this seems way more fun
Dude!
I am so stealing Seth's kick for sparring!
Where can we get Bob? Serious question. Couldn't find him anywhere. Much love from Czech republic.
Looks pretty much sweet T to me 😜 Eventhough SweetT is your brother he looks like Senei Seth’s brother 😂
Rabbi Seth in the house!
Made famous by Francisco Filho in K1. Hilight reel ko!
🔥🔥🔥
Question mark kick is the bane of me... Never learn how to stop it properly....
You beat tyron the second time you got robbed man.
Call out Masvidal!!
Might have to give the NMF belt to Bryce Mitchell
Did anyone notice that Bob the dummy, that they were kicking, looks a lot like Wonderboy's Dad. Could there be some Freudian psychology underpinning somewhere in there?
Sweet T still lookin handsome
So are you going for the title
2:16
Hey hey where's sweet T? Oh yeah hello Steven.
I’m 24 plan on becoming a future ufc fighter is it to late
He once was a little green slab of clay... GUMBY!
Bruce lee crescent kick
Does the legendary wonder boy respond ?
где на русском субтитры?
I feel like you could move up to light heavyweight and do well…
the goal is to be able to kick THROUGH your opponents skull right?
thats some dark stuff right there
I feel like i have potential to be a fantastic kicker trapped inside the body of the least flexible person on earth. Also having shorter legs & a longer torso probably isnt doing me any favors 😔
You probably can still kick, alot of these kicks have more to do with balance. Bend the leg u are balancing on more also try leaning back more
You know what you can't set up a question mark kick with?
Wonder boy go to 185 you’re not going to get a shot at 170
