Correction, Chara controls nothing.
The Player IS the one behind the strings.

@@brokenperson4208 Chara literally only appears at the end of the Genocide Route.
We, the Players, are the ones that commit ALL of the murder and suffering upon the inhabitants of the Underground. This thing about Chara possessing Frisk (or in this case, Boyfriend) is merely fanon stuff.
Chara appears for a few minutes only and then the rest happens, which they take our "soul of determination" and erase the world. That's literally ALL that Chara does and shows up for.
She DOES narrate SOME parts of the Genocide Route, which was the main reason why Chara is being blamed for the Player's wrongdoings.
