Most people around the world think that Russia and the USA are very far from each other,
why? because we are used to a map where Russa is far on the right and USA is far on the left. But the truth is that these are neighboring countries! Yes!
From Alaska to Russia, the closest point is about 88 kilometers in distance! and actually, the real closest point is between the Big Diomede Island (Russia) and Little Diomede Island (US), they are only 3.8 km (2.4 mi) apart
Follow Alan's Theory for more videos that will open your mind in different ways 😃

Ive spoken to some and they say its a flat circle map with a hole in the middle and the center is the northpole where supposedly we’re not allowed to visit? And that the government wont let us go there and outerspace is all within a dome of our planet like earth is a snowglobe encompassing space. Just so much insane nonsense.

Actually, while the distance between MAINLAND Russia and MAINLAND US is about 88km, he’s not being accurate here and the video misrepresents the facts. Russia and the US are technically only 2.4 miles (4km)from each other. In the middle of the Bering Strait are two small islands; Big Diomedes and Little Diomedes. Big Diomedes is part of Russia (but has no inhabitants). Little Diomedes is part of the US (and has approx 100+ inhabitants). Ironically, about halfway through the video he shows a view with the US in the foreground, and Russia in the background, implying that it is the view from 88km away. That picture is actually the view from Little Diomedes (US) looking at Big Diomedes (Russia) 2.4 miles distant. It’s not the view from mainland Alaska. Check it yourself!

@⟭⟬ Blackpink Are my source of life ⟬⟭ Weather can be bipolar and rain comes out of nowhere, you could be walking back home from town and get caught in heavy freezing rain, my hands and feet went numb when I went to get COVID tested in town, it’s really hilly in Alaska which can cause there to be a lot of mud when it rains as well so if you get stuck somewhere with your car or ATV or something happens to you it might take a while for someone to pass by and offer help or get help to your location at that, that’s if your service works. Hospital and health care can be far from you depending where you’re located. Everything is super spread out compared to the city unless you’re in town. Lots of wild animals too, mostly bears all over the place but I’ve only seen small ones to be fair, I could go on and on about the all the dangers in Alaska, many things can happen. I was expecting there to be a lot of snow but It was pretty warm the whole time when it wasn’t raining like 60 degrees Fahrenheit mid day and afternoonish in the summer time in Bristol Bay, I spent a little bit of time in Anchorage as well.

Actually, we are technically closer than that. There are two islands between Siberia and Alaska, and they are named Big Diomede and Little Diomede. Big Diomede is owned by Russia, and Little by America. They are 2.4 miles apart, so technically we are walking distance from Russia. (You can actually walk between the islands when the water freezes over in winter)
