one thing to disagree about dragon rulers: they *SHOULD* be used, but now as they were intended. The fact they made a deck all on their own was just thoughtless design, but each of the dragon rulers are very helpful within their own element, so any deck that focuses on or utilizes their element can benefit a lot from the dragon rulers
After playing with them in different decks, I have to say I agree with you.😌 I’ve been playing with Tidal and found great success. Redox also has some good uses in my decks too. As support cards they are not bad at all.
@@Revedante try tidal with fortune ladies and spellbooks. The amount of drawing you do is hilarious, sadly, just drawing a lot doesn't necessarily win you the game (protip: use book of life to make the fortune ladies uber strong, with tidal opening you up to some massive draw plays)
@@Revedante I don't know if you're actually interested in this, but I re-built the deck from what I remembered..which wasn't a lot. It's been 10 years after all...I also added some update support. The result is...I kinda forgot how to play my own deck. That said, even though I made a lot of misplays, I think it at least shows you a little of the concept? Also I learned that using the fortune's calling locks my out of the usual bread and butter of using tidal to make Number 11: Big Eye to steal their monster....but the trade off is more than worth it, or so I think.
I'm a casual boomer here using zombies and wiseman and neos and Danger! and thinking my zombies and Danger! aren't quite cutting it maybe I should learn an actual powerful engine and this video helped a lot! Thanks!

What is the assault synchron engine? I like how you explained the herald engine but you skipped right over some of them assuming we knew them? Is it just ss assault synchron?
@@JessePerezStrategyGaming It is just Assault Synchron, which then goes into a Synchro Play and people mostly use it for a level 8 Synchro like Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon, which then allows you to go into a level 10 Synchro play. It is basically a 1 card engine + 1 non-tuner monster to go into Synchro Plays. Hopefully that helps.
Tbh, when I finished the video, I also didn’t agree with it. B tier seems like the better option, but with the nerfs, I don’t think it’s better than that.
I kind of don’t think it can. The “meta” currently includes a lot of banishing. Especially with the popularity of cards like Mirrorjade. With only one fountain, unless your draws are favorable, there’s not much you can do about that. There’s also way less chance of drawing backrow removal now. I’m not gonna say the deck is dead but to say it “keeps up” with the meta is a stretch to me. As a small engine just to get the draws turn one it’s not bad, but I think c tier is appropriate for how vulnerable even the setup is now.

As a invoked dogmatika enjoyer, I agree that as an splash engine they lack compared to others.
