Compared to other mainstream apps WhatsApp has a lot of issues.

Nothing works for android. Not one tutorial from the whole internet. This situation is beyond frustration.
Wrote to whatsapp tech support, received only automatic response with some basic instruction ! WhatsApp is the lamest smartphone app, since the beginning.
Those guys should be banned from public appearance and usage.

Idk why so many companies use it to communicate. It sucks and this problem obviously happened so many times before, but they still haven't fixed it. If it's not mandatory in my workplace, I'd uninstall it a million times if needed

The problem is that i cant open my whatsapp cs my android broke and i got a iphone and now its asking for verification code from the old whatsapp whichs in my android and that cant be fixed anymore its busted what do i do now?
I am having the exact problem you having except my android did not broke, I traded it in for an iPhone and now cannot receive the verification code. This is so annoying

I honestly think it’s to do with your phone number, I am going to buy a pay as you go SIM card in a few days and retry this broken cancer, it’s beyond annoying. Not a single answer on Google or a single answer from TH-cam videos to why this is an issue. It has to be down to wattsapp not liking certain phone numbers
