the problem with wwe 2k22 is that even how many finisher you perform to the opponents, how many tables have broken the opponent will always stand up after stun like nothing happened they cant even put an effect like opponents difficult to walk or run or gets tired to wrestle stamina depletion its getting kind of boring overtime.
Let’s hope they listen and improve selling and match pacing. I know the 2k devs lurk on forums, and I’m hoping Patrick follows the through with his pledge to listen to fans. This game with better selling, injuries, rest holds and chain grappling would be the perfect Wwe game for me personally gameplay wise
I wish they went back to the system of having multiple hold animations instead of the same lockup for every single grapple. it's just terrible for a triple a game these days.
The thing about pro wrestling commentary is they are so many individual comments , tailored moves, signatures. There is hundreds of hours of audio here. I’m convinced it will never be good as a result of the way the canned audio and responses have to play out in a wrestling match in game. I am a pro wrestling commentator for a local promotion and it’s a tricky one from experience even in a live situation!

I had a legit ROH/NJPW/NXT sequence perfectly sequence smooth reversal, reversal, reversal, finisher reversal, I hit my finisher any my screen turned blue. 2k is trash. Last good 2k game is 2k19 and you can't download caws now. If they added the WWE2k22 Superstar move format layout in 2k19 it be perfect. I do love how 2k22 I can give people the correct moveset and fit every move. I literally edited every single moveset in the game plus every CAW. Every move ( in the game ) that a Superstars ever hit ( outside multiple diving and corner and ground moves... please add more moveslots especially for diving. We should have like 4 light dives and 4 heavy dives by now. 2K23 should add more sequence moves... like ( punch, forearm or chop back and forth sequence, more off the rope sequence, more creative pin types... Also BRING BACK ADVANCE CREATE A ENTRANCE ESPECIALLY LIGHTING ( THEY GOT LIKE 75% OF ENTRANCE LIGHTING WRONG AND IT HURTS CAWS... ) ALSO SEPARATE, RIBBON, STAGE AND WALL... THIS IS THE BIGGEST ONE ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT FIXES WHO 2K CAN PUT IN THE GAME. MAKE 500 YES 500 CAW SLOTS AND 10,000 IMAGE SLOTS AND SPACE TO FIT THEM ALL. THE GAME WILL NOT LET ME ADD THE FULL 100, HELL I CAN'T DOWNLOAD ANYONE ANYMORE I JUST DOWNLOADED SOLO AND IT CRASHED MY GAME I HAVE 85 CAWS ATLEAST LET ME FIT THE FULL 100
Man, seeing their finishers is depressing. Three finishers have nothing about them that are distinguished visually than regular moves, and the finishers are over within 2 seconds with no impact on the mat. You work all the way until you get a finisher, just to be underwhelmed at the lack of dramatic effect it offers. Bloody boring.

I've never reveresed a grapple into my finisher. How do you do that?? And how do you have the storage for all those alt attires?!
they're just reversal animations. they don't count as finishers and are unique to each wrestler.

man I really hate this lock-in/holds before you do a grapple move. It lessens the smoothness of sequences.
