When you mentioned about the Ring Beam , that one you were calling the lintel , you only touched on the cost of timber and forgot to mention the cost of reinforcement bars the 14mm or 16mm bars , they are quit many and expensive ,
Remember they put 4 of them right round the house ,
Eish they also break thr bank

Its not lintels , its called Ring Beam,
It is the "foundation of the roof"

Since the outer walls are the ones that are double and not the inner, it's not two houses but less than 1 and a halv.

I agree, isnt it a requiremnt for most urban houses to be double walled?
Though l noticed some of her enterior walls are also double walled.

Yes you cant say bcz you are doing a double wall then you say its 2 houses,
Urban houses with trusses and roof tiles need a double wall cz the roof is very heavy
