We finally get to see the hour of joy and boy how terrifying it is to see it at last. No employee,scientist,workers survived. All killed, eaten or tortured to death.
What happened to the kids? Were they all transformed before the killings?

@@MoonyBaeExact. I read a theory that said that possibly ...that possibly Ollie is experiment 1006. Because we saw on a VHS that 1006 can change its voice. Besides, in the end it seems like a betrayal. I mean, Ollie cheated on Poppy and Kissy.
Furthermore, it is almost impossible for a child to continue living without food for so long, and in general, to have survived the disaster.
But it's just a theory.

As much as people from other videos (that showcased this scene in particular) think that Catnap was betrayed, I feel like this was more like him sacrificing himself to the Prototype. The last thing Catnap could do for his God, his "hero," in a moment where he thought all hope was lost after he nearly burned to death, and then suddenly sees the hand reaching down to him like a God, the lighting even adding to it. At first confused, he points to himself, then in a moment of realization, he willingly gets on his knees and extends his arms, offering his body, and letting Experiment-1006 take his flesh and skin to add to the Prototype's own building body.
Truly a twisted way to show just how much Theo worshiped his savior.
+ catnap build a shrine that's resemble the prototype, like he wanted to be a part of him
I can’t decide whether CatNap gave himself to the prototype willingly, or if the prototype tricked him. It kind of looks like it’s offering CatNap a hand. It also looks like CatNap is opening himself to be stabbed in the mouth. I’m not sure I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on it.
Regardless I can’t help but feel bad for CatNap, he was locked in the playcare his entire life, turned into a monster (likely went crazy) and dies. His life has been nothing but deception and pain. (Side note we kill him in a similar way he had been fatally wounded as a boy before he was transformed into CatNap, there is something tragically poetic about that)

Well we see when catnap was still a kid he got burned by the green hand (like how we just seem) and the prototype helped him last time but this time he didn’t I think he thought the prototype was helping again but was killed instead

I’ve always wondered what kissy’s scream sounded like, if it was the same as huggy’s or higher pitch, and turns out it’s higher pitch then huggy’s scream

No i think huggy is dead, even though in chapter 2 wed think he had crawled up again, but I think the prototypes hand is inside the vent before he officially falls, he grabbed huggy to be part of him

@Shin_godzillas_rageIt’s really likely that he died, falling down a large distance especially when you have organs as fragile as humans can majorly injure and kill you. It would also be noticed that Huggy Wuggy is alive as he would be seen around the factory wandering like Kissy Missy, but because nobody even Poppy has seen him, it is most likely that he was killed at the end of Chapter 1.
The Hour Of Joy is probably the most brutal things I’ve seen in this chapter, just watching each frame by frame image with absolutely no sound effects besides somber music as each and every person on screen was murdered in front of our eyes. The ending frames where it just shows a sea of bodies, all laying on the floor dead is just terrifying to imagine, absolutely no survivors, nobody alive. Just everyone dead.
Holy shit this game is awesome. 👏
The saddest thing is that Kissy Missy died. Or she's too badly injured. At this moment I'm crying...

I think Ollie is the Prototype who betrayed Poppy,Kissy and us. If Ollie is a human there is highly unlikely for that kid to remain a kid for 10 years.

I notice that catnap noticed the gate open and the Prototype appear, poor catnap crawled back as fear and ears go down because it know that he failed so he open his arms as pled for his forgiveness… Poor catnap 🥺
Catnap got betrayed for a single reason - Failure. Catnap could never get out of tough situations by himself, he was always relying on/ hoping that the Prototype was there to save him. This time he failed again and the Prototype was sick and tired of Catnap failing over and over again. The Prototype had enough because of all the times he demanded a task to Catnap and he failed, ending his misery.
He clearly offered himself, not betrayed. The Prototype extended his hand, and CatNap opened his arms to embrace it, as if knowing and accepting what the Prototype will do. After all, any devoted follower would offer themselves in a heartbeat if their savior came to take them, even through death.

I think this brings up a very good question: why did the prototype save the child that would become CatNap in the first place?
In the ARG it made it clear that it had a clear exit and could have taken it and left the child (Theodore) to die. It makes the prototypes motive all the more murky, my best guess is that it saw potential in Theodore and wanted to mold him into an ally but unintentionally created a zealot which he had no use for
(It still begs the question why he allowed CatNap to persist for so long; at the end there, I think it was the prototype killing Kissy Missy (I could be wrong but that's what it seemed like), so it clearly has full mobility and is perfectly capable of dispatching another Bigger Body is need be.)
@@demondog804He might’ve known he was a failure, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t offer himself to give his so called “god” another chance at succession. That doesn’t mean he would sit there and hope that he doesn’t really upset the Prototype, he most likely wanted to give himself away.
(Catnap basically sacrificed himself to show how much he would do for the Prototype.)
I honestly feel bad for poppy imagine hearing all the scream of people being slaughter unable to do anything then years later she lost someone that she actually (maybe) cares about being kissy the doll preety much traumatized

I mean his story really is just pure tragedy, he lived in the orphanage which was a strange manufactured environment underground which is already a breeding ground for ill-equip children for the real world, but I think that playtime co. new that and never intended those children to leave, which is horrific.
On top of that he was turned into a giant cat monster and subsequently mistreated by the staff and likely goes crazy becoming a zealot to the very thing that will one day kill him.
The poor kid just never caught a break.
Catnap was a great character, great design, very creepy, it's sad too see him die. He didn't get that much screentime tho.

Some reasons why catnap did this is obviously catnap sees the prototype as a god, so of course he'll say yes.
Two, earlier in the game, we find out that catnap had been saved by the prototype from being burned alive. And now that has happened again, he new he wont survive this one really. He'll walk around the facility heavily bruised and limp; making him easy prey for the smiling critters
Three, is that the prototype is catnap's god as we already established, but remember that shrine he made? That means he KNOWS that the prototype uses other toys as body parts. And when he sees the prototype's hand and he does a little cultish pose, catnap's literally saying to the prototype that he surrenders to him. He knows that he'll be used for a body part, and that to him sounds like the ultimate dream come true. And the prototype DID lend out his hand to help him on his end. Because he's his most loyal servant, and commonly in cults, cultists usually become a part of their master...
Catnap: “Save me, my lord!!”
The Prototype: “Nah see ya never”

In my opinion, Catnap knew he was giving himself up as a sacrifice, and despite having natural sad feelings about it, he still did it to worship the prototype to his fullest extent and last breath, now thats dedication

Only thing I didn’t like about this chapter was that they advertised the smiling critters so much just for most of them to be dead in the actual game. But I do get it. It’s probably to show where defiance of the prototype gets you. Other than that, I absolutely loved this chapter!
the only mysteries left is who or What is Ollie and what the prototype actually looks like

Mommy’s body was shredded in half so there’s only the upper half
Catnaps body is One Piece ( dumb obvious anime reference ) ( and the Green hand that got stuck went along with him )
So I have a theory a Game Theory if you will
What if those chapter 3 teaser trailers and gameplay trailers Actually had some chapter 4 stuff hidden
Like the huggy head and that huge amalgamation thing ( cause it’s a lot bigger then the shrine plus the shrine was in a orange light in a corner the teaser had blue light in some huge room )
Sure it’s more likely that that was just cut chapter 3 content I’m just doing A Little Theorizing here
I think it is confirmed or implyed Ollie is the last remaining living human in Playco before you're arrival as Poppy said Ollie is the reason they found the player, indicating Ollie searched for former Playco employees who would have the skills to utilize the Grabpack equipment and possibly skilled enough to tackle the many guardians of the Prototype
Don’t forget Ollie’s voice is a kids and if any kids alive right now, their voice should’ve changed by now. It’s been 10 years
at the end that scream sounded a bit like huggy

Why would he want to run? We weren't capable of killing him, we were even Immobilised after our last stand against catnap. I'm 100% sure catnap died. the golden lights at first symbolising the prototype as catnap's god/legend/hero giving him a hand only for that to happen was really creative and clever of the devs. I don't think a injury like that right into and through the mouth & head can be healed. even if it can in poppy's universe, it will probably be too late by the time it can be done for such an injury.
