I think the absolute brilliance of Orange Cassidy is how he's a modern fusion of Bugs Bunny and the Fonz (Popeye too if you include how he gets amped from drinking his OJ). He's cool and wants nothing but to lounge around and have fun when he can, but when shots are fired at him, that's when he gets willy and dangerous.

I don’t think you will have to worry about that.
He's not a giant muscle-y steroid monster, so Vince isn't gonna be interested in him. He's not an insanely acrobatic either, so 205 live wouldn't be a good place for him. He's a solid worker who seems physically fit, but not super human, with good technique, who gets over with his gimmick, his promos, and connecting with the fans. WWE wouldn't know what do with him.

@@maraviyoso8473 they are gimmicks, it doesn't resonate with everyone but for those that love crazy gimmicks it truly brings them joy. I'm somewhere in the middle I typically lean to the "shut the fuck up and wrestle" style but, if I go for a crazy gimmick I want them to go all in I mean go big or take your ass home and that's what these guys do, they never fail to amaze me.

That dude in the background looking at the camera "i love him" haha. Seriously, I can see this getting over so huge in AEW that he'll be up there with Daniel Bryan and Kane with WWE. Able to take something that shouldn't work as a serious contender while they're so funny. I seriously want to somehow see Cassidy and Mox cross paths. Just the extreme opposites could be so much fun and intense matches. They'd have to save it for a year or so on a slow comedic build for Cassidy so the pay off of that feud can help transition into a more 3d character (if they even wanted to). Shit, I can't stop thinking about the potential matches in that entire company with his character.
