This ticks all the boxes and I just think they're untouchable here, this collaboration is magic. Yes, there are other artists doing great stuff, but nothing like this. Anderson has just started APESHIT INC. a collaboration with the Universal Music Group. Putting it out there for other young artists who can play their instruments and perform...so now they're paying it forward as well as back, how exciting is that. Can hardly wait for the album which drops on my birthday, best birthday present ever. When this popped up on my phone I had not heard of Silk Sonic. I couldn’t get through the first verse without crying from laughing! I know how kids be at Chucky Cheese! I was weak! Then when Anderson was doing the Hercules stomp, I was no more good. It probably took about 20 minutes to get throughout the song. I was done, sold on Silk Sonic. Had to look up the other things they had out, Leave the door open and Skate!! Then I was counting the days till the album dropped! Been dancing and singing ever since! Love me some Silk Sonic!! I graduated from high school in 1976 and listening to The Ohio Players and Earth, With and Fire, Chi-Lits and so on. Took me right back to real music, not the “canned” music that comes on the radio now. I am 64 and am a Silk Sonic fan and Bruno fan and Anderson fan. Real music in real time.
