My Father was born in the USA and my Mother was born in Mexico .My parents were living in San Diego California in 1966 so when my Mother was pregnant with me my parents decided to drive across the border into Tijuana so that i could be born in Mexico and have that citizenship because of my Father being born in the USA I would automatically get US citizenship .So I have dual citizenship .My parents did this with all my brothers and sisters .Now that I'm much older I'm glad my parents did this because I plan to retire in Mexico in about 5 years or less and with me being born in Mexico it's going to make things much easier .Not to mention that I'm fluent in Spanish as well.

Several wildfires in the Napa Valley made us think about leaving, and then the MAGA cult regime exposing the very worst of America made moving South and easy decision for us. We ended up buying in Bucerias Nayarit and have been here over four years now. It was brilliant timing on our part as the Covid epidemic would have been horrible for our business. We loved living in St. Helena California but can't imagine every moving back. Viva Mexico!
Hi Jose, I wold like to know your advise, my husband got the Temporal visa , and we have 180 days to enter Mexico for the CANJE second part in the process of getting the residence card. My question is Do would buy one way ticket or round trip? I don't have any visa yet, my husband has to claim me after he gets his residence card. I really appreciate your time. 🙏🙏🙏
Well most times it's cheaper to buy a one way ticket to arrive and then buying another one later on if you have to return. But if you plan on staying in Mexico then there is no need to buy a return ticket. Legally you do not need a return ticket. If they try to force you to buy one, just know that it is the airline trying to milk you out of more money and not the Mexican Government that requires one
It has not been that easy for me. I thought my birth certificate was enough.....no. I was rejected by the consulate in NC, as my NC drivers license list one last name, where my birth certificate had my two last names. I hired an attorney in Chapala. I have flown down 3X to take care of my documentation. I was able to get the INE card, CURP certificate, as well as several fresh copies of my birth certificate. At the passport office in Guadalajara they added an additional ID requirement (non published), they wanted to see an Impan card. Mexico does not want me.
You are a Mexican Citizen if you hold an INE card. That is the main identification every Mexican Citizen has. Not sure what the problem is. You are a Mexican Citizen according to what you just said. You said in a previous comment that you can can not get Mexican Citizenship but if you say you hold an INE card that means you are a Mexican Citizen. Please be more specific my apologies for not understanding
@@JoseArteagaTravels In my mind a passport is the ultimate proof of Mexican citizenship. Same as in the US. Every time I enter Mexico using my US passport I’m given 180 day on the FMM. Are you saying that my INE card will allow an unlimited stay in Mexico? I’m not concerned about being deported, however Im expecting a problem at the airport if I over stay my FMM. Or do I simply show my INE as I exit Mexico at the airport? Also, my wife has a 2-year residency card, as she is married to me (a Mexican). Does she get unlimited time on the FMM? Guess I’m getting carried away because I’ve been rejected 2 times for a Mexican passport. I’m going to try again at a consulate in South Carolina in two weeks. We were in Guadalajara a few weeks ago & we both got the tax ID, needed to open credit, bank accounts and buy/sell property. Given the political climate here in the US, we need an escape plan in place. Thanks for your ear 👍
Fair warning, one of the most common side effects of being Mexican, is ending up with an unfortunate nickname, for example I’m “egghead” after a bad haircut turned into a buzz cut and having a perfectly round head, so if you don’t want to be Rasputin for the rest of your life, you’d be wise to change your aesthetic. Congratulations on breaking out of the matrix in search of a fulfilling life.
The birth certificate is easy just go to where you were born go to the registering office and they will print out a copy for you on the spot the INE (electoral voting card) is free for all citizens and its used as a national ID Which is the most important ID a mexican citizen can have o and don’t forget to get your RFC (tax ID number) if you plan to start a business i just came from a one day trip to Mazamitla which is right next to Chapala /ajiji/ and i m glad i chose guadalajara only 45 min away the whole tourist crowed wears me out 😅PS guadalajara has cleaned up its act now you have to smog your car. I wouldn’t had chosen guadalajara if it was not safe.
Question. What if you are Mexican and your wife Vietnamese. You have children in the US. Can my children born in the US get Mexican documents ?😮 By birth right.? Is easier for you . You were born there

Congratulations on breaking out of the matrix in search of a fulfilling life.
ok! Thanks for sharing Egghead!
lol, I get the Rasputin reference....Only cuz of the long hair and beard. And definitely bags under my eyes from not sleeping well :)
How come you went to New Orleans when there is one in Denver?
Great question! Hopefully he sees this and answers it for you!
Hello , Take a Trip to Puerto Vallarta
Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for sharing!

Question. What if you are Mexican and your wife Vietnamese. You have children in the US. Can my children born in the US get Mexican documents ?😮 By birth right.? Is easier for you . You were born there
Yes they can! You can watch this video for more information th-cam.com/video/buMQettPeF0/w-d-xo.html
It's good to have options, but things are not better in Mexico. Not by a long shot. Good luck, though.
oh ok, Thanks for sharing!
el paquete completo, gringo y chilango! y si es sanador porque no cura a su propia madre?, increible!
Jaja si ya tu sabes! El es una gran persona con un corazon gigante dedicándose a ayudar a muchos con sus ejercicios de sonido. A responder a tu pregunta.
No soy Jesus, soy musico. A vezes gente necesitan curar sus cuerpos... mi madre no tiene la capacidad para cambiar su vida, y por eso, ella tiene mucha doler y problemas.
Nicholas over there looking like Hesus aka Jesus 😁😁😁 jk nothing but love 😘 lol but ona serious note. Taking notes 📝🤔
Jaja You already know I got the best interviews! Even Jesus himself wants to share his story on why Mexico is so great! 😅
Nicholas....mexican? Better call Maury. I keed , I keed
Jaja I know! I thought the same thing at first! But if you've traveled around Mexico you would know that there are many Mexicans that look even more gringo than he does 😅 Actually once you hear his story it all makes sense. He was very lucky to be born in Mexico. His parents were ahead of their time.
Quédense en su país. Lo están arruinando todo.
Precisamente por eso esta regresando a Mexico. El Nacio en Mexico y esta regresando a su tierra. Saludos!
