Terry the establishment couldn't handle your success it was like the wolf of wall Street once u get too big they close u down ..admire your bravery and tenace well done tel your a legend your legacy will be well remembered
My father in law’s pal was a chauffeur back in the 80s. After spending the day driving Terry around London he said farewell with a £1000 tip 💷 AND gave him the nod to back one of his horses which duly won.
My step dad was also a chaffeur in the 80s name was Doug he use to bring home his silver shadow and other cars we went to Terry place at the Barbican and fireworks at his house in wick ford
What a great man and very stressful even when your at the top of your buissness and doing great with choices. Circumstances don't change a person it reveals them. I was touched with last kind gesture. I hope Terry is keeping well. Thank you for sharing part of your life.
I have never heard Terry talk until these interviews and I didn’t realise what a clever guy he was, and more importantly after the last story a decent human being. I would have liked to have had him as a buddy in them great betting days as I am sure it would have been some journey😂😂😂 Have really enjoyed your stories and I know it’s a cliche but they were better days when the world then seemed simpler and fairer, and you could get a bet on! Now everything is controlled by bean counters and the personal touch has long gone or like my old union chap said when they were making us redundant, we are just a number on a spreadsheet ! To which the management said we really value our employees. Guess what yes we still all lost our jobs .
These professional gamblers harry findaly don't have a job but they bet in thousands but they never get asked for a source of wealth proof of funds any normal punter as soon as he lost 20k gets pulled and needs too provide so much documentation even then its never good enough but the likes of harry findlay don't need too provide it its one rule them and never for us normal punters
Terry helped me many years ago with a 500k donation !! I’ve never touched a penny of the £500k but lived very well of the interest What a man you are Terry !! Legend
Douglas Stewart was well respected by Terry he was our step dad he looked after terry in a father way .done all electrical work also in Newmarket even gave him horse called. Cool enough ..Terry knows who I am and my sister .he was a very generous person
I have always had the upmost respect for Terry Ramsden. Listening to him speak he is just such a great inspiration, forget all the obstacles he makes no complaints about his treatment. I hope he gets anther really good horse.

Absolutely brilliant! True legend, shame he disappeared from Racing for so long, so much knowledge to offer
Top man Terry, handled his downfall with grace and without bitterness. That’s a mark of the man. Good to see him well. Best wishes from Ireland ☘️
Brilliant to listen to Mr Ramsden i remember so many of the races he spoke about and watching his colours be carried to win races.

Things were different back then.
These days a winning punter wouldn’t complain about having to accommodate KYC.

You always want the Terry Ramsdens to do well . Fearless .
Top man- thanks for this simon.i suspect you could get a couple of hours documentary out of terry.

Top top interview!
The good old days when real bookies with balls stood the rails and real gamblers like Terry tried to clear them out.
So true they won't even take £100 at 6.4
I can remember Terry buying my team Walsall FC in the 80s and giving all pensioners a frozen turkey at Xmas time.
Great interview
Tremendous find, but not sure it answered the main question we wanted to know - what's he up to now
You are blessed, man
I reckon his stories would make good reading, when's the book out?
It's an emotional illness it's drained the life out of him sad because he's a genuine bloke
really superb
What a great man
This would make a great film surely

Thought Pebbles was brilliant.Forgot the Ascot winner. But 2 stones lead in a secret gallop equals say 10 stone.
