I think the defense is doing a horrible job and is extremely unprofessional… all she does is complain…. She does have help behind her. She has one or two paralegals behind her which is more then a lot of defense attys have during a trial…There are judges that would not allow an attorney to conduct themself in the way she has, objecting and complaining and making false accusations about the prosecution throughout the entire trial ..This judge wants to move this case along , but there are some judges that would not tolerate her behavior in their courtroom. The procesution has bent over backwards , trying to accommodate this woman.. She is a chronic complainer who acts like she’s the only atty who’s ever tried a case by themselves and nothing could be further from the truth. If she came to work prepared, it wouldn’t matter how many people were on the other side ..

After hearing from the firefighter, my opinion is she gave him (the shooter) a gun in hopes that he would use it on himself. She planted the suicide seed when she lied about the friend that was sent for treatment. Also appears as she wanted sympathy from coworkers and acquaintances about her weird unstable child, and the issues that she had to deal with. why else would you sent copies of that massive warning sign (the math assignment) to people you’re not close to ?

Bingo! I've been saying the same thing since it first happened, regarding her hoping her son would commit suicide with that gun. She clearly didn't wanna be bothered with him & his dad anymore, with her new swinger lifestyle. She was totally planting seeds to the people around her & wanting them to feel bad for her. Knowing she lied about his friend committing suicide, reiterates my theory. You can even hear her say something in the back of the Police car about her son "turning the gun on himself", but it's difficult to hear it all.

The 3 of them should have been attending a good church regularly. In that region there are some wonderful churches. Just like I had to stop watching the testimony in this trial when the teacher took the stand to relate her actions, immediately after she realized there was an active shooter in the school when someone within earshot of the microphone could be heard crying & sniffling back their snot throughout the testimony.

AGREED! that’s double dipping for sure. Same as BS statutory rape charges. It’s law because their brains are not fully developed so they can’t make responsible decisions and be held accountable. Yet we charge kids as adults for murder /other crimes all the time. Our criminal law/judicial system is a joke. Like giving Ariel Castro life + 1,000 years for his heinous crimes. Seriously? Or letting Raymond riles sit on death row for 49 years. People just want to see someone pay, cops want to burn someone for the crime and the media wants the juiciest story. Shes innocent until proven guilty except she’s been in jail for 2 years and is shackled like a serial killer. They can’t catch the smart criminals so they’ll snag anyone they can. Sonow what should we expect these parents of victims of school shootings, where the shooter died to demand the shooters’ parents be tried? No way could they have foreseen this. If ANYONE should have taken notice it was the school. They are trained to look for these things. The SCHOOL is who failed the victims. Kids spend 40+ hours at school a week. I have school age kids and I 100% would be blaming the school if this happened here, blaming the TRAINED people who should notice this.

Just because the news and prosecution framed it that they were on the run, doesn't make it so. Evidence is showing they were not trying to run. They were receiving threats and also had the right to leave their home before they were ever charged. The burner phone- they were told to get by police after theirs were taken. They left their home long before the warrant went out. Parents are not usually charged for school shootings so they would have no reason to believe they would be charged. Their attorney was trying to connect with the prosecution yet she was ignored. This is why it's important to not listen to a narrative and wait until all facts come out in trial.

I think the parents should only be charged with medical neglect for refusing to get him checked 2x for head injury, but has the state given him an MRI now and with failing to secure the firearm. It’s very obvious Ethan fooled everyone and the parents only had two hours to process a drawing on a math paper. Why would she ever think it meant more than about the argument the night before? She was worried about it enough to start talking to others about it. She was concerned. Ethan knew he “almost” got caught, so he decided to do it then. The parents didn’t chose this, not are they a danger to the public, it’s the opposite, they are in danger.

@@63076topher Maybe he had asked for help earlier in his life, but in the video the night before he apologizes to his parents for tricking him into trusting him. So he hid his mental health danger from them in order to get them to buy him a gun. Also, parents would destroy their relationship with their kid by reading their journal. And who didn’t just purge all their exaggerations in their teen journals? Kids wrote all sorts of things that are not true in their journals. But, I see an intentional effort of Ethan here to blame his parents. I think getting parents held accountable for bad parenting for his childhood and also the childhoods of all other school
Shooters, was his intent. I think it definitely was thought out and his deviant plan actually worked. His parents are the first being held accountable for this. This will wale some parents up and possibly get help for other kids like him. I think this was his plan and it was why he was hinting that the shooting “had to be done” and he thought it was the only way to use his life to do something worthwhile, for the good of society. Why else would he think it was good to shoot people? Why would he think this would have some sort of positive impact? It’s horrific, but look what is happening to his parents and the national awareness of parental negligence and mental health awareness. I think he thought this out that far and he exaggerated in his journal and also dropped those school
Hints to make the adults at that school suffer more. Like he fooled them all. “Wake up people, and pay attention to suffering kids and red flags.” Sure his parents sucked and were negligent, but I doubt any truth about his endless cries for help bc of what he said in his video. The video contradicts the journal.

@@63076topher His story in his journal doesn’t match his apology to his parents for tricking them into trusting him. He clearly wrote one thing in his journal, blaming his parents, but lied to them that he was fine to get the gun. It’s so obvious. Talking about ghosts and poltergeist activity actually can be messing around and/or real, and not indicating psychosis. I’ve played Ouija board and then had a toilet flush on its own in a room when I was alone. So that is a thing. I’ve had objects move and other things also. So have other people. Not crazy. People do have activity like that. People that haven’t, obviously it sounds crazy.
