That was always the point: Steffy was always stronger than Liam. Liam is always the big savior for every woman. That is the role in which he feels comfortable. He loves Steffy for her strength and her life, but she is too strong for him. In reality, she would have needed him, but never showed it.

Chased after them. I like both the girls but you can tell which one he want to be with. They always play that fairytale music with Hope and Liam. A Happily Ever after music. Steffy is more like a close friend. Someone he can talk to or cry to about Hope. It clear to me who Liam loves and it's Hope. Brooke tried to goe Liam married to Hope before Steffy and Bill manipulated them again that's all that was about. Steffy spent many years chasing a dream. Liam would never give Hope up for Steffy. Everytime it was Hope's decision to let Liam go. I have been watching this since day 1 and that's how I see the Storylines. If Hope wants Liam, he always goes running back to her. His one true love.

She has a lot of her mother and thinks everything has to be hers. When Steffy was pregnant, she made her bad at Liam. When she became pregnant herself, it was all completely different. But Liam is mostly to blame for the whole misery. If his love for Hope is so deep and genuine, all these things would never have happened. He doubted Hope about the smallest thing - like in Italy.
