Kyoshi island is one of my favorite episodes Suki kicks some ass and seeing Sokka become less of a mesogynistic jerk is legendary. Ive always wanted to try learning the kyoshi fighting style. If i ever am able to get some fabric again i really want to do some ATLA cosplay.
hello!! this is so amazing! i was trying to cosplay the warriors with my friends soon, but i had trouble figuring out how to make that opening in the front for the robe! how did you do it?
Thank you so much! I kept pinning it up and then trying it on, checking the drape, then pinning it and checking again, ect. untill I got a good fit and only then did I make the final cut. Taking it slow helps a lot!
Did you use a pattern for the skirt/underdress? Or just a long circle skirt? :) Just bought the kimono pattern you mentioned above. Suki is next on my cosplans! Thank you so much!
Your Suki costume came out AMAZING, Tinka! Seeing it in person too is even more stunning. I can't wait to do Azula with you 🔥
Thank you!!!! I'm so excited to do our eventual ATLA shoot 🙏 Your Azula is gonna be amazing!
I just finished my ty-lee and air acolyte costume and I think a Kyoshi warrior needs to be next on my list! But it turned out really good
Thank you and good luck on your Kyoshi warrior cosplay :D

Good luck! 😊 I didn't use a pattern, it was basically a super long pleated skirt, there are tons of tutorials for them on TH-cam!
Check out part 2 for the armor tutorial! th-cam.com/video/q7lqIX3vfw0/w-d-xo.html
Did you take a break?
The costume is finished but the videos have been delayed a bit due to another project I'm working on! The next 2 parts will be up in November 😊
How hot is it? I want to wear this at Comicon but I'm afraid ill toast
Hey! Can you please pass the pattern??
Or is it possible that you can show the kimono in the floor??
