Well, in all fairness, MDBogan clearly didn't say, "DIED in the desert", he only said "DYING in the desert", ie, he was in the process of dying.
Obviously the process was interrupted for some reason, perhaps his burning desire to upload this video, for example, and maybe even make more videos.
So even though he may indeed have been dying in the desert, in the end he didn't end up dead so therefore he did not DIE in the desert, even though he may have been at some point dying in the desert.
Finally, technically, every living organism is immediately beginning to die at the exact moment of conception, the only variable is "TtoD", which stands for "Time to Death".

For crying out loud, Danny, also soak your T-Shirt with water and put a jacket on over it. This works like a radiator. Just stop and re-wet your t-shirt when it drys. We did this in the 70,s to try and keep cool. P.S. I better tell you this as you won't figure it out, you put the jacket on so the T-Shirt doesn't dry in 5 minutes, and the jacket will let it dry slowly and keep you cooler longer. Also, there are products out there designed to keep you cool. Matt Laidlaw and his friends used these to keep cool in the deserts.

I live in Greece and in the summer it gets to 40 degrees quite often. BTW, the temp is measured in the shade. On the road that 40 can easily be much more. For that reason, I bought a white helmet. I used to have a black Shoei and sometimes I thought my brain was getting fried like an egg in the pan!! TRhe white helmet is great, it is always cool and protects you from the sun instead of sucking in all the heat.

A few Neck Koolers sealed in watertight baggie so you can always rotate a fresh one. Keeps your carotid area cooler. And a evaporation vest would even be better (under a mesh jacket maybe even...). You could actually ride across the desert in comfort. But even using what you've got. Your vest has been soaked in the rain and ridden until dry....many times. You could have soaked the vest. And buy a spray bottle with stream/spray nozzle. You can keep spraying and soaking yourself as you go, conserving water and making it last longer.

This brings back memories. My last big trip…9000km in 20 days. Started in Calgary Alberta, through the Rockies and over to Vancouver Island, spent 5 days there then into the US, USA 1 s Washington, Oregon, California…riding through the Redwoods…300’ tress that you can drive a car through. Wanted to go to the Big Sur but..Forest Fires..So at San Jose, turned east to Yosemite National Park, Bridal Veil Falls…up to 10,000’ Snow in July.
Then the spiral down towards Death Valley National Park..entrance at Sea Level….heading to Vegas, via Death Valley.. -263 below sea level …130F. Vegas for a couple days, then Hover Damn, Grand Canyon, south to Rt66…ran that to Chicago..back into Ontario towards Toronto.
Then shortly there after, life happened…had to give up my ride…13 years later…trying to put another ride together..my dream is for my son and I to to make this run…want to do this…that’s my dream..before I get too old.

Nobody talks to you or says hello when you walk in. It's like the staff are all miserable zombies. They survive on new bike sales, and it seems that's all they give a shit about. Living and riding (everyday) in the Arizona desert is different. 106 degrees is a cool day, 116 to 120 is hot. These suggestions will help. 1) Hydration backpack with electrolytes. 2) Keep you body covered. Sweating in a jacket helps cool the body by evaporative cooling. 3) light undergarments like Arctic Cool t-shirt and a neck gaiter to keep wet. It all about managing the heat and cooling the body

U.S. Harley assessment, spot on! Some are just not friendly at all - like you are a burden to them. Others, feels like you're part of a club or tribe. Great observation.

Nearly choked on my cuppa at 22:02 when the word SUMPING fell out of your mouth mate! Is there a hint of technical insight beginning to creep in here, or were you just regurgitating something Col might have said once? No need to answer that... 🤣
Keep on rocking mate, you're a bloody legend. 👍🇦🇺👍🇦🇺👍

Love your videos Daniel but Why the manufactured drama ? Your early vlogs were all what happened and nothing really added. If the trip was boring long distance desert riding that is what it is.... no need to add drama. I love your vlogs anyway that being said but cringe with the acting sometimes. Crawling and laying on the ground is not drama. Keep it real, Your life is very interesting and I do appreciate the message you send concerning mental health. Love ya brother.

Jumping back and forth across the boarder within a short time period like that, solo on a Harley….Not surprised they detained you. It’s smuggler behaviour. They’d probably do that to you if you did it with the American/Canadian boarder too.

Living here and riding in West Texas, Danny, I ride year round and normally try to ride early morning through early afternoon in the summer….still end up riding in over 100 degree Fahrenheit before finishing most times. As always, look forward to your vlogs
