I'd love to see a series of glam & gore with make up from different eras / ages with matching gore, as a plausible way of dying. For example death by arsenic with 1800's Victorian style, in order to reach the ultimate white and translucent skin, 1912 death by Titanic and so on. I love Mykie's content and how she can be so funny but also talk about serious staff when needed!

We used ben nye as stage makeup all through high school. We used it as foundation, countour, to paint on wrinkles, etc. I've gotten to a point where I can make it look pretty good but I'm not kidding when I say it is the creamiest, thickest, and OILIEST thing you can put on your skin. When I think back to high school theatre I also have to take a minute and pray for my skin

We used Mehron cream makeup, it was DISGUSTING, and it was so thick it would feel like it was melting off under the stage lights. Having been a makeup artist AND an actress, I truly know the pain of stage makeup. Forever traumatized.

Kermit is a lot easier being an Italian greyhound the coat is not only smoother but you really don’t notice hair since they’re all one shade, minus spots. With Ripley she’s gonna have to focus on different strands due to all that texture

For any future reference, red yellow and blue, along with trial and error will make skin colour! If you ever need to make foundation again lol
Oh! And I forgot you'll have to add some white too lol
Equal parts red, blue, and yellow won’t make it. You have to mix one of the primary colors with the complimentary color. So if adding equal parts blue, yellow and red, you’ll have the brown go one tint. Start with a green and then add red so, you’ll start with more red than you do yellow and blue.

The way you mixed the foundation the 2nd time is exactly the right way, and what an mua like myself would do to shade match a client. You just have to pay attention to the color wheel, so if it’s too cool, adding the red and yellow warm tones was perfect, then if it’s too warm, adding a blue or green cools it down. You just keep going until you get the match. You may have thought you didn’t know what you were doing but you did really good 😊
