  • "The Divine Office gave me a way to connect to God, and His Church anyway, even when I cannot go to Church. Since Vatican II, we have seven different hours of prayer everyday. And the same prayers and psalms are used the world over.
The Church, at various parts of the world carries on a cycle of prayer and a symphony of praise and prayer before God. Commitment and Intentionality is the key. For a start, you might want to focus on Morning and Evening Prayers."
Listen as Br Simon share on the official prayer of the Catholic church, a Liturgy that we can all celebrate, and enter into a profound way of what it means to be praying as One Church.
⯈ Where to access the prayers?
Download the CatholicSG Mobile App app.catholic.sg/ or search in app stores. Tap on the Pray... How & What... How To ... Divine Office
Alternatively, you can also use the Universalis App or purchase the prayer book from a Catholic bookshop.
This is a series of videos on the Divine office prepared by the Seminarians of the St Francis Xavier Major Seminary. Join them as they expound on the official prayer of the Catholic church, a Liturgy that we can all celebrate, and enter into a profound way of what it means to be praying as ‘One Church’.

I currently use the “Christian Prayer: The Liturgy of the Hours” published by by Paulines and it’s gilded sides with a black fake hard bound leather cover. I personally suggest using holy prayer cards to bookmark the pages as it only has 4 ribbons.

    Thank you for this.
Praise God for your ministry and vocation.
If it would be possible, can you broadcast also your recitation of the Offices? or can upload samples of the different hours and in using the Breviary or the 4-volume LOTH?
    :)
    God Bless.

Clemence Victor Castro you can use the DivineOffice app where there is recitation of the different
Hours. The pages listed at the top of each hour applies to the 4 book volume of the LOTH. Hope this helps.

Hey Jenna.. i think the catholic bookshops are currently closed. Hopefully it'll reopen when the churches are open for private worship. 😊

The hymns , we need to sing or we just say those words in the hymns

We can simply recite the words. But in more communal conducts of the divine office, the Church highly recommends that the divine office be sung. God bless (:
