Looks good. But I noticed your were cutting pieces to line up with your rafters That tells me you weren’t square. Level and square is very important. Thank you for sharing.
24 on center and a slant roof is plenty fine . . .and if it's just a 'stuff shed' i've seen people do 14x16 with 2x2 and slat wood. . . more than sturdy enough to take load and protect 'stuff'
I don’t appreciate the way you threw your assistant under the bus like that. By saying, “…he’s just an assistant…” is not the way you support someone who’s helping you and possibly trying to learn from you. That wasn’t very professional. Save that for “off camera” conversation. Just my thoughts. Other than that BOTH of you did a good job with the shed.
I agree, I was thinking the same thing. As a fellow brotha, I support what he does and am thankful for him sharing the video, but it did "sound" like he was talking down on him. I know it was not intentional, but it sure sounded kinda wrong. If the assistant was to watch the video, I wonder how he would feel, just curious. Much respect my brother.
I disagree, but perhaps I work in construction and have a thicker skin. At 5:24 the builder has to jump back and forth (inside/outside) to finish the work the assistant is suppose to have gotten done intuitively.
This is the shed he did for me. He worked hard and did a great job. I would recommend his work.
