- Restoration video of an early (and nice) 7C43-6020 baby tuna. JDM 200m diver with plastic Arnie-type shroud. Excellent original condition, likely never serviced.
PSA: This video contains sub-optimal levels of editing, enough to get it done. We have zero script beyond the questions people have sent in. Same for the sound - I forget my microphone pretty regularly, so if you can hear anything count that as a win. Even if that "anything" is tuneless humming. I did pump up the volume though. YMMV if you choose to spend part of your life on this. No Refunds. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing the song; it was worth a listen. And, as always, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
Great video as always! Curious to know why you had the QT-99 set to the LED/SWEEP mode while you were checking the accuracy there at the end, instead of STEP mode?
I didn't realize it was!
I wonder if the plastic shroud on a seiko sne 498 or 497 would work?
What ever you do, don't hum the Smurf song.... :) it will stay with you forever...
I don't know it. My total lifetime watched time of the Smurfs can be measured in under ten minutes.
0.65 sec per day is truly appalling for a watch of this expense and alleged reputation. Give me a 7548 all day long... 😊
Or a Gshock 😊
