I love your chair❣️ The caning did look like a fun project - who knew? If you had trouble cutting the foam, the go to tool is an electric knife. However, a large cerated bread knife works beautifully.
    Thanks for the tutorial

Wow! Super cute! I have a question about stain. I am currently redoing two chairs and a love seat for our porch. Its bamboo ( I think ). We power washed it, which brought out the light tan color but many dark spots didn't come out . Tried linseed oil but it doesn't cover the dark spots . Which oil would you recommend that would give it some color and hide the dirty looking dark spots? Would paint be better and which? Thanks !!!!!

I recently bought a rattan chair. It has black leather lacing on all joints, it is brittle and coming off. I plan to redo this and bought some leather lacing. Wish me luck.

Nice!!! Did the danish oil make it shiney? It didn't look like it in the end! Such a great steal, and you did a great job caning! 💪

Thank you so much! Once the Danish oil soaked in it didn't leave any shine, it has a very natural feeling finish
