What a responsible person. He needs to be going around Jamaica educating men on how to be fathers. A plan to grow his child. Wow!

Great interview. Great parent. Parents have to be the biggest advocates for their children. Don't put limitations on your children and don't let others put limitations on them either. Find the resources that will accommodate the needs of your children so they will be happy, healthy, well balanced, well rounded, and challenged. So wonderful to see that the parents recognized the gifts of their son and are pursuing the best for him.

I love what the father said. This so true what he talked about. The same things happen here in schools in New Orleans,La . So sad the education system is falling to realize, diagnoses does define the persons. This is our Future and we are the Pass . We have to take care and nurture our Future . Because one day they have care for us. We need educators ,administrators and teachers are In Love with teaching God Prize possessions the children.

Great interview! The school needs to create a program similar to an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for Soul-Heart. It's also time for the Ministry of Education to consider educational assistants or paraeducators to support students based on their needs. I pray Soul-Heart gets the support he needs.🙏🏾❤

I commend you as a father... I see a budding Teacher. Who best to do the job? Keep feeding your son natural foods and I would not recommend vaccines. There are success stories of autism being reversed/cured. FYI most of our black babies are very very intelligent. Lastly, the best foundation for you and your son is in Christ, The Most High God. That’s where you find true success. Wish you the best.

It's not only Jamaica; kids gifts are lost in the U.S Educational system too. Parents and teachers need to educate themselves like this man. Parents need to accept special education; it's not bad. You have school for gifted kids; they are called
Twice-exceptional kids. These school are usually expensive and private but you can get the board of education to fund the cost.
Children can be gifted and also have learning and thinking differences.
Many of these children go through school without being identified as having special talents or needs.
You can help your child get more help
“Your child is gifted and needs special education?” Many parents are all too familiar with this kind of comment. You may hear it from friends. From family. Even from some teachers and doctors.
Yet there are lots of people who have exceptional ability in some academic areas and significant learning difficulties in other areas. Educators use a special name to describe students who qualify for gifted programs as well as special education services. These children are referred to as “ twice-exceptional” learners.
“Some organizations estimate that there are hundreds of thousands of twice-exceptional learners in U.S. schools.”

I have just come across this view. I have always refused to call children autistic because of the label and treatment. I have always responded that it is Gods creative power embedded in such children. Fathers should align themself with the principles of Dwayne as he has implemented the strategies of God as a Father and taken hold of his inheritance in the first instance. God has set the example of Dwane in all his acceptance and rejection of worldly customs like Danial who refused to eat the King's food.
God provides direction and proved himself unto obedience to his law and not that of the flesh. Father Dwayne, be encouraged that God is with you. Continue to be guided by the Spirit of Truth, Love and participation in the life of your son. It is confirmation that Soul is God's Will for overcoming what has been placed contrary to Gods will for God's children... Trust in God Always.
