Peachtree Ridge High School Marching Band 2008

2008 Peachtree Ridge Roaring Lions Marching Band show entitled "Joyride" performed at the Greater Atlanta Marching Festival at Rockdale County Highschool.
Awards For this competition:
Straight Superiors
1st place drum major, colorguard, drumline, and band in AAA division
1st place drum major, colorguard, and drumline in gold division.

1st movement- Ride
Soloist Calvin Shirey
2nd Movement- Lonesome Road
Solist Wes Faulkinberry
Trombone Quartet- Ben Jackson, Ryan Tucker, Nick Benson, Brenden Frazier.
Thir Movement- Takin' in to the streets

You know, as a parent who has a little bit of funk in her junk, I agree. I'd love to see the band move a little bit beyond their traditional stands songs. Get the crowd into it! Have people up from their seats dancing in the aisles!
