I know actors hate bootlegs, but I really wish we could find a way for fans to have theatre be accessible with actors not completely hating anyone involved. I'm sorry I live in a completely different state and have NO money to see tours on the rare occasion tours are scheduled. Guess I'll just listen to the cast recording. I mean people have been dealing with inaccessible theatre for decades, why move accessibility forward? *shrug* Edit: I hope all of you fans from around the world one day get all the theater accessibility you deserve 💕

I do feel bad for those who cannot access live theatre, however I think that bootlegs should not be allowed until the show has closed. This is because the cast and crew usually have certain secrets and jokes in the show that they want the audience to be surprised by. For example, I was lucky enough to see Beetlejuice live and there were some little secrets and jokes that I never knew were in the show until I saw it. If I had the choice of when bootlegs could be allowed, it would be after the show has closed, because that way you wouldn't accidentally see a whole surprise. I understand that lots of people will want to see the show when it's popular, but this show has gone through a lot, therefore I think the true fans will keep talking about it. I do agree with you and I hope you get to watch it in some way.

I would gladly pay for a subscription to a netflix -esque platform for plays and musicals where every now and then it would release a professionally filmed musical.
Also, their outfits reflect their characters. Like-Rob and Kerry have similar pale colors like an adorable couple, hehe, and Leslie's dress looks like something Delia would wear...haha

Beetlejuice is all about being strange and unusual, and i often find myself feeling strange and unusual. Singing and acting and Dancing and doing theatre makes me feel as if I belong.This show hugely impacted my life. The message I get from this show is so huge to me that words can't even explain it. This fandom gave me a place where I can go and talk to people about my struggles, and they actually understand. I'm like the only theatre kid in my school because I live in a small town and it feels like no one understands me. Here I really do feel like I'm not alone, and someone is hearing me.
