    My sets are specifically geared towards deep house lovers.
    I share my gigs with 2 or 3 other djs. The first one play deep tech, minimal / slower tech house, south african deep house, the next plays, a blend of commercial edm, house, afro beats, then i play deep house ,organic HD, progressive house, sprinkled some trance and techno, and melodic h&t. The last one plays afro house , afro fusion, amapiano and afro beats.
    I plan my sets usually by starting with an ambient atmospheric / cinematic beatless track , and goes up from there. My tracklist is 90 % prepared with energy and the keys in mind, with the aim of taking the crowd on a journey with peaks and valleys that make sense. Not saying its a full proof strategy, but i have never had any complaints 😊.
    I do realize that this style of dj may not work for dj or every crowd.
    Im doing it this way because the crowd i target is starved for the deeper side of house type of vibe, because every where else is the same type of music .
    So it works for me and for them

    I’ve had the Mixstream Pro for well over a year now and I absolutely love it! Already been mixing here, there and everywhere in different environments outside etc and I absolutely love it! The small monitor speakers are ideal for practicing anytime, and the fact you can link them up with a proper sound system too is class! I take mine to gigs as well as taking them to the beach, works both ways 🙌🏼🔥

    DJ Studio is a new secret weapon. It will teach you how to harmonically mix but not in a conventional sense. It will show you new pathways in and out of songs and it provides all the logic it used to build the set list so you can learn different harmonic approaches for impromptu mixing. It is absolutely fantastic for creating published mixes to TH-cam and Soundcloud. The video export feature is crazy. Most importantly, it's great for making an entire set and then listening to the set on your own time. It will absolutely tighten your sets up both in song selection and duration. It brings cohesion to your sets. I was skeptical of DJS at first too, but it is a game changer. What the developers have in store in the next couple weeks is going to change a lot of minds about their software and disrupt the entire industry. It's about to go next level. Don't sleep on DJS. It will undoubtedly help every level of DJ in some way!

    Sad to hear you think In Music won't be making a Prime Go 2, i was legit looking forward to how they updated it, maybe a little larger so better Jogs ect.

      Making the Prime Go even slightly larger would ruin it. I have a Prime Go and it fits into my carry-on backpack perfectly. Anything else, even a DDJ-400 or FLX4 needs to go into a checked bag if you're traveling by air. Nothing else does what it does. The jogs are perfectly serviceable and a worthwhile trade off for being able to travel anywhere with it.

      @@chuckmakesit I understand where your coming from and will have to take your word for it about flying with the thing. The reason i didn't pick one up as a super cool portable second system was the jogs are too small for scratching, at least i don't think i would enjoy scratching on such small jogs. Everything else about the thing i love so was hoping for larger Jogs on a version 2 :)

    Boys I’m filming an hour of a Darty Set I’m hosting. What do you think the best camera angles will be?

      @throwaway1852 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In a perfect world i'd say one birdview showing your Decks, one straight view from the same height of the mixer with you in the foxus and one angle from the side. Just what i've Seen from dj sets i've entjoyed watching :)

      @@throwaway1852 Great call mate!For the sets I have done on my channel, I’ve used the front and side angle, but no Birdeye view. That’s a very interesting call! might have to try it for my next set!

    Guys, you shoud either, like, have, like, a counter of how many times, like, the guy on the right, like, says "like", like, or use, like, some kind of software, like, to cut it all out, like. I wonder how much shorter would the video get.
