Love Susanna’s interview style and ethereal beauty. When l found this channel l thought she was a model. I love her outfits so much. Fabulous figure. This was a beautifully filmed episode. Always enjoy Quintessence ❤
All I can say is " WoW " they have an amazing and beautiful home .. I keep saying that Quintessence is the best interior design channel on TH-cam I look forward to the videos and Designers that are showcase in each video.
What a beautiful tranquil home. Love the color palette, especially the green. Can you imagine the wonderful memories the children will have of growing up in this house. Thanks gals❤
Enchanting and magical. Its really about a life: the children are actively playing using their imagination, not sequestered with their computer devices. This is the kind of childhood I experienced: laughing and being outdoors. The house is as charming and pretty as the two of you in your flowery skirts and straw hats: the rattan and bamboo; the lovely colors throughout. Its clearly designed with an edited eye and style and taste, but its not overdone. Its really about joy. It's like every day there is summer.
It is fun to see for a change a young family with kids and the working house at its best. Glad to see so much food and wine, Susanna did not leave hungry.
Her light Colonial style is so balanced here, with bits of whimsy and a naturalist vibe. This would work perfectly in Southern California as well. So much black, white, and grey in design these days, the green is a real treat. I also collect Bordallo Pinheiro majolica dinnerware, but the green leaf pattern. The living room in my 1931 Spanish Revival home is so similar, with the high curved ceiling and arches that I love. Fireplace is at one end, though, with colorful Talavera tiles. So many design aspects from Greece, Italy, Spain, South of France, North Africa, and the Tropics overlap and mix well with traditional furniture for a welcoming, comfortable look. Glad you were able to stop in ladies, and give us another inspiring tour. Cheers!
Strangely, this home shares its taste and so many contents with the home of a friend of mine in England, which has an Italian garden. Even the ochre exterior walls, the green paintwork, the bamboo chairs and the cabbage dining set from Portugal. They must be twins separated at birth! I love both the homes.
This episode is like a beautiful Disney movie fairytale the way the children are opening window doors and you see the beautiful outside and the camera follow them walking from the pretty animals to the beautiful outside of them walking through the backyard with wine in their hand and this channel is amazing. Really truly is my favorite.🧡
Beautiful house! Although i also prefer the interview format, this sort of video makes a fun change! Thank you for creating it and thanks to the subject for allowing the filming.
Lovely place. I prefer Suzanna's narration. It was difficult to understand the beginning of this video with the guest designer/developer. Thank you for sharing this.
The setting and architecture are winners - plus the evocative presentation of ideal country life. Ah, that it were so for everyone! A number of years ago I stayed in the "villino" of family friends, outside Rome. The atmosphere was similar. It was so nice their being able to commute from there into Rome for their commercial businesses! Style-wise, I would prefer a little more color. The green rooms are great. But there is a bit too much white, which comes across as cold. I would prefer some mellow colors to fit with the sunshine.
Teodora Diana has a beautiful home, filled with their collected objects… never cluttering the spaces…perhaps helped by the monochromatic choices in colors. Although your questions and comments were missed-the lovely hostess added a welcoming narrative.
beautiful home, but I do prefer when you walk and talk with the owner, slowly going through the home, instead of this "slide show like" video. It offers no sincere insight. it's just a transcript being read by someone while watching some slides (snooze fest). I hope you go back to your interview style videos, to give the attention the homes deserve.
I agree, I missed Susana voice, her acutely tuned eye for beauty and the unusual. She is the⭐️ who dances through the homes and points out things we might have missed
Thsi narrative style does not work for me. It is disconnected with the music associated now with Susanna. Each person brings their personality and tone and it doesn’t vibe always. The home was beautiful.
I could not watch this to the end. I would much rather have the interview format because Suzanna brings so much energy to each encounter. Definitely a stunning home with a great family though.
Beautiful property. I prefer the interview style w Suzanna rather than narration but that’s just me. Thank you for showing us this lovely home.
We will return to that again. Sometimes circumstances dictate this format.
We are loyal Susanna followers, she does whatever she wants and we like it. We have to take only what morsels are set out for us. 😊
@@gregpendrey6711what a lovely compliment for Susanna!

What a truly beautiful home, so refreshing to see a normal family enjoying life together.
I would hardly refer to this family as ‘normal’ 😂
@@1868foxpoint😂Absolutely Agree! Everything is Lovely: the family, home, furnishings and their lifestyle which most definitely Not The Norm!
Love the additional format of the home owner's perspective. Such a calm, green serene environment for her family to enjoy!

beautiful family home...loved the kids green room, the gorgeous mosaic fireplaces, timeless & elegant......bella!

We love the green too !! So glad you enjoyed!
Gorgeous family home! What a heavenly place for you and your children.
The house is classy, tasteful yet comfortable. If I think that it is set amidst the greenery and history of Via Appia I die for it😎
What a beautiful home, I hope there is more to come! Only 7 minutes seems like a tease, please please can we see more of this home.
What a great place to grow up; so many things to do or just chill in the living room. 💚
A lovely family, spending quality time in their home. Nice wallpapers!
👍🏻👍🏻
Some beautiful rattan items in the home. So gorgeously curated!
Love it when a new episode drops! Beautiful home
More to come!
A beautiful HOME is where the heart is...❤
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. What a fantastic collection of art and furnishings. The outside is gorgeous and so lush.
Beautiful home; beautiful family. I especially loved the two wire haired daschunds!

Amazing!
I love that she fallow her heart decorating her home with items she is passionate about. Beautiful 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I totally agree!
that blue mosaic on the fireplace! what a bucolic atmosphere
Indeed!
Will be in Rome next week and I'm always in awe in the European lifestyle. They LIVE LIVE LIVE
Love tho is episode and hearing from this talented owner.
Looks so Palm Beachy. Interesting choice in Italy.
I loved seeing an Italian designer's home. Would love to see a home in Germany.
So beautiful, charming and lovely
☀️
Lovely home! But they always are. You never miss.
Thank you! 😊
I'd like to call this home heaven on earth^^
Well I just fell in love again ! With another house of course !

Lovely home. Lovely family. I like her style.
Bonjour mes amies, thank you so much for this lovely visit. They do have a magical place, there is nothing to add ❤❤❤
Exquisite! While you captured the essence of the property and family in a short video, I would have enjoyed a longer version.
Beautiful family house
What a beautiful home!
Looks cool in the summer. Nice cupboards in the dining room excellent choice of colour if I say so myself 😁
Glad you enjoyed!
Lovely, lovely, lovely.

A lovely home. The two women both wore beautiful clothes.

nice home! thank you.

The trees!
I'd gladly give up small-town Indiana for a life in the Roman countryside!

Absolutely amazing
I love the homeowner narration!
Love your blue and white Skirt!
I realize that Quintessence is not about fashion or clothing, but I agree, Susanna’s blue and white skirt was fabulous.
Thank you! Im so glad you liked it…I found it at Zara in Tokyo!
Paired with a black T-shirt? And a black bag on top of it 😂
@@MariaM-yj9hd..yes, made the blue pop 😂😂 She does look and dress like a fashion supermodel which is why l thought she was one.
Beautiful ❤️
Beautiful home but I prefer the interview format done by Suzanna.
She will be back next time!

Molto bello ! ❤
Lovely
Hi, Suzanna! What is that incredibly optimistic music you use in your videos. When I hear it I feel about 2 feet taller.
Delighted you love!
Beautiful home, very Italian, but the tour would be much better with Suzanna's interview style and inputs.
She’ll be on camera in the next one!

Perfect
Lovely property but in some places, I felt there was too much stuff albeit beautiful. I almost want to say your skirt stole the show Susanna!!❤
Bring Suzanna back to ask all the right design questions because when she does she is channeling us 😁
I do whenever that format allows!!❤
She’ll be back in the next episode!

We do in person interviews whenever we can but don’t want to miss home tours if time allows and I happen to see an amazing home and hostess

@@janetcorey5102 that’s so kind of you to say I always do that whenever our format allows
I love the girls room.
We do too!
Definitely prefer the interview style. I felt everything was rehearsed and there was little to no human spirit in this video.
Idyllic property!
Thsi narrative style does not work for me. It is disconnected with the music associated now with Susanna. Each person brings their personality and tone and it doesn’t vibe always. The home was beautiful.
We do the regular interview format whenever we can!
@@susannasalk7153 No worries, Susanna! Don’t worry! Can you do the voice over then 😋 no pressure!
I could not watch this to the end. I would much rather have the interview format because Suzanna brings so much energy to each encounter. Definitely a stunning home with a great family though.
Sometimes we can’t do the interview but it is our preferred format as well and we do whenever possible (which is most of the time).
👍
❤
Why didn’t Suzanna do the interview?
Because this format was not possible on this trip as Stacey was not along with me to do the sound
You were missed❤
Not quite the same without Suzanna visiting with the homeowner.
She’ll be back next time!!
I am looking forward to it because the "visiting format" is unique.
Could not understand what she was saying.

Cabbage dishes are not porcelain. It is ceramics .
I like the owner, decorator narration. Questions and answers are distracting..
Very nice home but I don't understand the appeal for the cabbage dinning set. I personally hate it.
It’s very popular in England, pieces like that have been around for at least 200 years, but the modern Portuguese ones are the ones to have.
Why isn’t Susanna talking ? Trying to be like Homeworthy ?
What a ridiculous comment.Stacey wasn’t along with me on that trip so we couldn’t do our regular interview with sound.
