Every MTN MoMo PIN is unique and should be kept secure. Never share your MoMo PIN with anybody. If you ever feel your MoMo PIN has been compromised, you can request a MoMo PIN Reset.

Dial *170# on your MTN number
Select Option 6 for “My Wallet”,
Select Option 5 to “Change & Reset PIN”
Then select Option 2 to “Reset PIN”
Select Option 1 to register “Yes” and confirm PIN.

Enter the Merchant ID.
Enter the amount to be paid.
Enter your reference
The full name of the Merchant will be displayed for confirmation before payment.

Boss check it well you can see the balance but you definitely need to enter a pin code before you can transfer.

I know but the point is why will you have to show someone balance before his pin code

@@TechInTwi oh even if you transfer 1 cedi to a momo user you can see his balance through the message, but if don't know the pin code you will fine it difficult to transfer. I think that has been how the system operates.......but with momo pay the system is showing you the amount you have and how much you are willing to transfer to your main account for transaction. You pin code is definitely needed to do such.
