I think he just needs to do it in the big games and at the end of tight games. He doesn't need to get into a habit of moving on 2nd down in the 2nd quarter...take the incompletion and move on
@SaymarJr I know you're repeating a general narrative, but his concussions had nothing to do with size or him running, but rather his ability to fall. Mahomes, Young and LJ aren't big guys and scramble, yet never suffer from concussions. All of Tua's concussions including his hip injury one happened with his falling to the ground. Tua addressed that. Last year wasn’t a coincidence, a fell after getting hit several times. Now obviously we can't say it'll never happen but we can be as confident watching Bryce Young, Mahome, and LJ run and scramble with Tua. Although, I get it. The Bengals game is hard to erase😬
The fact that this video is a whole hour of pure high-lights is a huge testament to Tua's ability and talent! And for anyone who says that Tua is only successful because of Tyreek, they need to watch this video. And count how many different receivers not named Tyreek caught balls from Tua. Tyreek doesn't even show up til the 20 min mark!
Man Tua really didn't have anyone around him his first couple seasons. Most of those guys are out of the NFL. And they all had their best years with him at QB. Tua is underrated. We forget he's really only played 3 seasons worth of games. He still has room to grow. If he can fix those couple mistakes he makes when things get off schedule.. Look out NFL.
Tua really might win MVP this year cause the offense has only gotten better since this. Mobility, health, and not trying to force feed Hill and he can easily obtain it
@jaylewi25 If Lamar can win it with far less stats than Tua had, simply because his defense carried him to 3 losses, then Tua can win it. Especially since Tua was in the conversation up until that Ravens game and Tua wasn't the only 1 who had a bad game then.
Tua is a dawg. He's fringe top 10 imo but he's still improving. He's not Mahomes but he's elite at what he does: anticipation throws, precision/accuracy, and getting the ball to his playmakers. People may be upset about the payday he's about to get but this is the way the NFL works. The next QB who isn't bad gets the highest contract until another good QB gets paid. Excited for 2024
Even though he's not elite like Mahomes he's definitely up there he's a really good qb and he'll bring the dolphins to their first playoff win (Chiefs fan btw).
Bills fan here, Tua does not deserve the hate he gets, Everyone talking about his inability to carry his team, beat good teams, and throw the deep ball clearly don't really watch his highlights. He's not far off from the elite tier, sure, he's not Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson, Prescott, or even Purdy or Hurts but he's good in is own way. He throws with extreme ammounts of accuracy and touch, and he's the best anticipitory "system" thrower Ive seen. His problem in the big games is the fact he struggles under pressure, and too often locks in on a primary lead, even if the defense is in good position to beat the route. Those are fixable issues if he's more willing to try to escape the pocket, or take a millisecond more to look at all the options in the game, if Tyreek isn't open, dont anticipate and force it, roll the pocket, and look for Waddle or Cedrick Wilson, if needed, dump it to Mostert. At the end of the day, Tua is a top 10 quarterback. You dont move on from someone who led the league in passing yards. Honestly thier big win 2 years ago vs the Ravens debunks the narrative that he can't win big games, or can't throw deep. Hopefully he continues to play well. I look forward to playing them in the regular season.

I think that he’s a great qb and if the Bills never got him they would not be where they have been these past few years.
