Thank you for the vid! I was skeptical about the $900 price tag for a kit with a lexan body, but after seeing the quality of the machining on the axles...I can see why! Awesome...you get what you pay for!

I don't think you will see that. Companies are very protective of their manufacturing processes.
Really awesome kit, I hope they offer special discount for converting scx10 ii Wrangler with complete vanquish component. I know this is a way better deal, but I prefer common truck that you can see around the round.
These parts are designed specifically for this kit. Throwing them under an SCX10 wouldn’t work well. Selling just the axles alone would be most of the cost of the kit 😁 The typical replacement parts for this kit are ones that would be widely available. This isn’t a car that’s going to break like a typical kit.
Luckily my kit is on it's way ;) Looking forward to building this awesome kit!

So I just ordered my black edition and decided to watch this and why you would use standard hexes is beyond me. So I guess I’m ordering a new driver set!
Standard is used in a few spots in order to get the best scale appearance. Most of the truck is metric but the 1-64 used in scale locations is the exception.
That makes sense but are there any hex keys included and if not that would be cool if there were

I’d love to build this kit
Mine came Friday. What should we do when the ring/spool/bearing/carrier assembly won't slide into the axle housing? One set will go into the rear housing but not the front. The other set won't go into either housing.

Hoping you can help me with something. That six hole ring locker, Im assuming thats an upgraded version? Everything Im finding out there, to include the Vanquish website are all three hole ring lockers. Do you know who has them? Thanks

Quality machined aluminum and heat treated chromoly don’t come easy. There are tons of inexpensive options already 🙃

Sir, can you give a source of information on these axles. I'm interested in comparing the physical aspects of the axle, as compared to an AR60. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
These axles are the same width and physical size as a standard SCX10-2 axle. So they are much smaller than an AR60 size axle.

Why both metric and sae fasteners ?
Standard hardware is better sized for some applications for scale appearance and thread size.
I’m trying to buy this front axle I already have the rear but I don’t know what knuckles to use do you have a part number for me
VPS02900, 2901, 2902, 2903, 2904, 2905. Any of those will work.

Why don't you mention the shims at all?
They aren’t required, they are just included Incase you prefer to use them. If you want to use them they are often nice to use on the outside of the pinion between the driveshaft and outer bearing.
Why couldn't you use 1.5 mm screws instead of 1⁄16 which everyone has. Nothing should be SAE these days.
Do you mean a 2mm screw that has a 1.5mm hex? Because the head of 2mm screws is much larger than a 1-64 screw so for scale appearance the 1-64 screws look much better.
