- Heading Back to a spot we have work just a few times well maybe more than a few times.
This was our plan C because of Snow and a Winter storm warning !!!
Gary@TwoToes returns to work a spot that was giving up pretty good Gold on our last trip to this spot will the Gold continue ? While Gary works his spot I turn on the Minelab SDC 2300 Metal detector and find a nice piece of Placer Gold.

TwoToes artifacts
In the desolate heart of the Sierra Nevada, where rugged peaks pierced the azure sky and the whisper of wind carried secrets of a bygone era, a young gold prospector named Jeff ventured forth. Armed with a pan and a burning desire, he tirelessly swept the riverbanks, hoping to strike it rich.
Unbeknownst to Jeff he was treading upon hallowed ground. For centuries, the region had been home to the legendary gold prospector known as Old TwoToes, whose exploits had become the stuff of folklore. Rumor had it that TwoToes had amassed a fortune in gold and hidden it somewhere within the unforgiving wilderness.
As days turned into nights, Jeff’s efforts yielded little but disappointment. Just when his hope began to dwindle, he stumbled upon a peculiar artifact-a rusted metal cable, its ends worn and tattered by time. Intrigued, he examined it closer and noticed a faint engraving: 'TwoToes.'

A surge of excitement coursed through Jeff’s veins. Could this be a relic of the legendary prospector? With renewed vigor, he scoured the area, his eyes scanning every nook and cranny.
Soon, he discovered more artifacts-a pickaxe, a shovel, and a leather journal. Each bore the unmistakable mark of TwoToes. The journal contained cryptic entries that hinted at hidden treasure, but the exact location remained elusive

Finally, after weeks of relentless searching, Jeff stumbled upon an abandoned mine. As he ventured deeper into its darkness, he heard a faint clinking sound. With trembling hands, he unearthed a wooden chest, its lid adorned with TwoToes's initials

so far doing beach detecting found almost $4. in change. ($3.75) and some blue tooth earbuds. that are like $14 - $20. on the internet. charged them up. pretty cool wish i found blue tooth water proof earbuds. but free is good. have s good day.

Nice gold. I stopped eating icecream sandwiches because it's not icecream. Take 1 remove the wrapper and put it on a plate and set it on the counter. Wait 8 hrs even 24hrs it doesn't melt at room temperature. 🤯

So Jeff, in your gold prospecting career, what method has been most successful for you? Metal detecting, high banking, sluicing or good old fashioned panning? I imagine panning is the worst on your back.
Dredging and Sniping were the top two till I got serious about metal Detecting
@@Smithsgold I didn't even think about those. I couldn't do those. I actually drowned as a child at 7 and they brought me back. I panic if my head goes under water.
My best pan is my next pan.

Greetings from Vancouver island - : only Mercury and gold Dust 😂 here . I got a question for you - if i put a Cooper plate in my sluice ,would it catch Mercury? Riffle plate ? To get that damned mercury out of the creek , the old timers sure dumped that stuff without care 😢 well knowing about """ Mad Hatter"' effect. Eat Fish out of this creek ? Crayfish ? 😮

@@Smithsgold is that because you go fairly high ,and the mercury has been washed down river ? Or because the gold was bigger and they didn't need mercury for recovery like with fine flood gold 🤔
@@Smithsgold i actually found fluid mercury not just sticking on the gold , there must be tonns in this creek , people swim there and the kids play in the sand 🤔 of the gravel bars , i guess i got 5 ? 6 grams of fluid mercury now that i recovered out of this creek , just in one spot .
