First heard Kerr a few years ago. I heard some of the bigger models and thought they sounded amazingly good. Like PMC but better in the equivalent models. Great Speakers
The journey down the transmission line of this channel continues and I would support the continued exploration . As I have mentioned before I have TL speakers,the Castle Acoustic Avon 5 available until a relatively short time ago . These are floor standing just over a metre in height with two 130mm units working together (to a TL going down to a claimed 30Hz at -6dB),a 115 mid range unit and a Fountek ribbon tweeter . This for a box speaker at least is an ideal combination. A treble that is clear and detailed free from any dome break up or resonance and a bass, due to the TL, which is deep,powerful, tuneful and tactile . I think I first heard a TL at a show some years ago (it may have been TDLs) and didn't forget their quality . The rest of the support is a pair of bridged Myriad MA120 power amps and a Parasound pre-amp . Musical taste - much acoustic based music but I can also divert to other things like London Grammar . I am a performing musician playing mostly Leo Kottke so I value sound quality . Keep these reviews coming Tarun . Easily the best on YT .
An excellent video review Tarun. I know you don’t review turntables but I think you’d make an excellent reviewer for them. It’s the way you cover physical aspects of the equipment then turn to your description of the audio characteristics that I’m always impressed with. I don’t actually buy modern HiFi equipment but if I did, I’d consider your reviews and recommendations over all others. Pardon my French but you know your merde👊🏻🎶🎵😎

One brand of speakers I recommend to review is Fritz Speakers, especially their Carrera and Carbon 7. They also have made a model with Purifi woofers & Berrylium tweeters.
Tarun, you did it again. You are by far the best reviewer on YT. Comparisons, with different partnering gear make for highly informative reviews. And now I'm itching for a pair of the Darth Vader Altas. Going forward, I'd say review whatever strikes your fancy. I'll be here looking forward to your continuing journey.
Your reviews are always top notch. I love how you compare against other gear and go deep in your reviews. As for new gear to test, I have the Heco Celan Revolution 3s. They are very good speakers. I would like to see some of their higher end models reviewed like the Celan floorstanders or BellaDonna. We can’t get those in the United States but I bet they sound great.

Great review once again. Having the smaller 5" revelator partnered with the silky smooth HIQUPHON OW1 tweeter in my speaker, I can resemble to many of the qualities you mention. Amazing this old revelator woofer still stand strong today.
I run my K300s with a Purify Eigentakt Power amp. They are supported by two Subwoofers integrated with hi-pass/lo-pass at 70Hz and DSP in the lower frequencies to correct for room modes. Very happy with the sound. Certainly no lack of bass control in this setup - clarity is superb. But bad recordings sound worse than ever before…..
Good review, thanks Tarun. I have only heard a handful of transmission line speakers but I've never heard a pair I didn't like. The Pro-9 TL speakers I bought in 1980 left my listening room about 20 years ago but they are still going strong and I enjoy them when visiting a friend who now owns them. As a Lowther enthusiast, I'd like to see you review some of the new products they have recently introduced...
In-depth review as always. Having owned PMC TB2i they offer a very special sound. But they can be quite fussy with positioning, especially if they are rear vented. Looking the K300 they are incredibly deep, similar size to Dynaudio Contour S1.4. They won't be able to accommodate the average room unless the amp has amazing bass control. What would I like to see reviewed? As mentioned before, Leema Acoustics amp, possibly a Quasar which is a sensational streamer/amp.
Great review Tarun. I am lucky to live in Connecticut where Alta Audio have a warehouse. And yes for your recommendation a got a pair of Alyssa speakers and they sounded fantastic! Clear bass, warm mids and a lot of details in top without to be harsh. I am happy camper with Alyssa Speakers I have spoke with its designer and they are a really nice people whom answered all my questions. Thank you again.

Great review and also of the Alta’s and Trilogy amp! I’ve been following Kerr acoustics for a while and their products look really interesting. My own journey has taken me from the Naim Uniti Nova to the Burmester 082 integrated, which is all of three weeks old and still running in. If you have considered Burmester, I’d suggest the 082 which pips in at just over the 10k mark, but it’s a glorious listen Anyhow 👍 great to see your content evolving and I always look forward to the reviews

Great review of a speaker brand that should be better known. I hope you can review the floorstander version, the K320, which perhaps has the best bass in its range due to the longer transmission line. And the bigger K200 and K100 with those magical Volt dome midranges are as good as anything in the high end at a fraction of the cost, imho.
I can't afford them but I still like to see what the haves can buy that the have notts can't afford. Your descriptions are clear that I can feel like I can physically hear them. Keep up the good work.
I am really happy with my Harbeths. But you, Tarun, make me want to explore other speakers. And if I were to upgrade, this is the price point I would be looking at. But I auditioned some Wilsons and they are hard to forget..

Well I really enjoyed this series of vids. The breakdown on all your vids are great and I really enjoy them. Well to answer the question this is my personal favorite segment of audio, I believe it the best for the $$ spent. 😊
You may also consider reviewing some loudspeakers from Chario. Chario is an Italian company and in my view, they sound good. 2 French loudspeaker companies are not very mainstream, JMR (Jean Marie Reynaud) and Apertura. I believe that it would be interesting for us to see what you think about these 3 loudspeaker producers. There are not many reviews about them.
I remember hearing your debut showing at the Audio Show at Whittlebury Hall back in 2016. Hearing your smallest speakers made a big impression on me. I came close to buying them at the special show price, but sadly you soon discontintued them. You were K&S then. I found them the most articulate/best integrated of the three and recall them being driven by a relatively inexpensive Japanese amp. That sound stayed with me - including the sound/speed of a well implemented ribbon tweeter and I ended up ordering a 3-way design from the States about 6 years later that have fast drivers that hand off well. Like Tarun, it took me ages to find a worthy successor to my previous speakers - the Epos ES14 Mk.1s.

There are 2 brands imported by a distributor here in Portugal, which are not widely publicized worldwide, but which appear to be very interesting for those who like music and are looking for quality products at prices, I won't say cheap, but not completely impossible to achieve. I refer to Pathos (amplifiers) and Audio Solutions (speakers). These would be products from these 2 brands that I would really like to see tested on your channel.
Tremendous stuff, Tarun. I have to say you are amongst the crème de la crème of audio reviewers! I had a feeling these would get a great review because the word on the street about Kerr Acoustic speakers is very good. Dave Denyer had a set of their K100 and he (and everyone that has heard them) say they are superb alas well out of my price range. Even the K200s are £20k a pair, so not exactly the most affordable speakers. I'd be really interested if you could get hold of some of the larger Alchris Audio speakers to review. The small number of people that own them seem to rate them but it would be great to hear your considered opinion...
Hi Tarun. Great review of the Kerr K300. Jes Kerr will be very pleased with by it. I'd like to see you review the Enleum amp23r as a speaker amp. Needs fairly efficient speaker to really shine but it's pretty damn good with my Audio Physic Midex 89db 4ohm. It's small but the sound is world class.
How about a review of the Theoretica Applied Physics BACCH4Mac Stereo Purifier? Absolute Sound just named this product of the year and say it’s a breakthrough. Would love to hear your analysis

Hello, In addition to previous comment, Exposure 3510 Stereo power amplifier. I am relatively new to this hobby, few weeks ago I bought Spendor Classic 3/1 as upgrade from B&W 606s2. I was also considering Proac D2, but Spendor gave me the most natural timbre I have ever heard so far. I would be interested in your analisis.
Hi Tarun, amazing review yet again. I would like to hear your take on the monitor series of Harbeth (say the m30.2 xd) - they are a not as woolly as their reputation suggests. And some different amplifier and speaker technologies - maybe SET amplifiers and high efficiency horns or single driver speakers. Cube audio is considered one of the best driver and speaker manufacturers in the world at relatively attainable prices so would be great to hear your thoughts. Keep it up. I think once you get into the four or 5K range and have a very good front end, there are many many excellent choices. I’m glad Tarun is reviewing in this price class. I do think it’s worth emphasizing that your front end is truly superb and I would like to hear and see another review that covers interconnects and cables. Very enjoyable review. Thank you.

Excellent video all around. There are dozens of products I would love to get your take on. I'll mention just a few: Graham Audio LS 5/5, Borresen X1, the smallest MBL speaker, some panel speakers like Diptyque or the upgraded "X" version of the mid-level Magnepan. I could go on :)

Great review as always. I am curious about more active speakers (from Kef, Dynaudio, for example) and your opinion on some italian brands (Sonus Faber, Norma, Audia Flight) .
Regarding your question of the week, I'd be very interested in your review of almost any planar magnetic or electrostatic speaker. Anything from Magnepan, MartinLogan, or really any brand, including hybrids that augment their bass output, would be fascinating. I own a pair of electrostats, I thoroughly enjoy them, and I'd be interested in your opinions, good or bad. As much as I love mine, I'm also quite aware of their challenges.

Albeit more typical in brand, I’ve wondered what you’d find in the Cambridge Edge line of offerings (A or W). Also, something unique in any of the Orchard Starkrimson GaN amps, or even a Nilai Hypex amp 🙏🏼
They might not be as widely available in Britain compared to the US, but I would love to see you review Revel's different lineup of speakers. Like the Concerta2 M16, Performa3 M106, and PerformaBe M126Be.
Now that you revealed that you have a sweet spot for TL speakers and that you still have Thomas tube amp at hand, I guess you want to review Galion TL speakers as well.

The AMT and ribbon tweeters I have heard all had problems with sibilance but as you don't mention this in either of the reviews I assume this isn't so much of an issue with the better quality ones. There's very little out there about the Quad Revela 1 so that would be interesting.
Hey Tarun! I would like to hear your thoughts on some hybrid integrated amplifiers like Unison unico (the 90 would be nice) , supravox vouvray or other similarly priced products. Never heard transmission line speakers. That's offen the problem with this hobby, getting an impression of what's out there. Maybe review some more affordable gear like Audiolab, Technics, Dayens. It amazes me how much you pick up on from a review. When I’m assessing my system I mostly look for fine details and general realism and separation. You go into specific frequency ranges etc.

I’ve been following Kerr acoustics for a while and their products look really interesting.
My own journey has taken me from the Naim Uniti Nova to the Burmester 082 integrated, which is all of three weeks old and still running in.
If you have considered Burmester, I’d suggest the 082 which pips in at just over the 10k mark, but it’s a glorious listen

Great review of a speaker brand that should be better known. I hope you can review the floorstander version, the K320, which perhaps has the best bass in its range due to the longer transmission line. And the bigger K200 and K100 with those magical Volt dome midranges are as good as anything in the high end at a fraction of the cost, imho.

You may also consider reviewing some loudspeakers from Chario. Chario is an Italian company and in my view, they sound good. 2 French loudspeaker companies are not very mainstream, JMR (Jean Marie Reynaud) and Apertura. I believe that it would be interesting for us to see what you think about these 3 loudspeaker producers. There are not many reviews about them.

I remember hearing your debut showing at the Audio Show at Whittlebury Hall back in 2016. Hearing your smallest speakers made a big impression on me. I came close to buying them at the special show price, but sadly you soon discontintued them. You were K&S then. I found them the most articulate/best integrated of the three and recall them being driven by a relatively inexpensive Japanese amp. That sound stayed with me - including the sound/speed of a well implemented ribbon tweeter and I ended up ordering a 3-way design from the States about 6 years later that have fast drivers that hand off well. Like Tarun, it took me ages to find a worthy successor to my previous speakers - the Epos ES14 Mk.1s.

There are 2 brands imported by a distributor here in Portugal, which are not widely publicized worldwide, but which appear to be very interesting for those who like music and are looking for quality products at prices, I won't say cheap, but not completely impossible to achieve. I refer to Pathos (amplifiers) and Audio Solutions (speakers).
These would be products from these 2 brands that I would really like to see tested on your channel.

Tremendous stuff, Tarun. I have to say you are amongst the crème de la crème of audio reviewers! I had a feeling these would get a great review because the word on the street about Kerr Acoustic speakers is very good. Dave Denyer had a set of their K100 and he (and everyone that has heard them) say they are superb alas well out of my price range. Even the K200s are £20k a pair, so not exactly the most affordable speakers. I'd be really interested if you could get hold of some of the larger Alchris Audio speakers to review. The small number of people that own them seem to rate them but it would be great to hear your considered opinion...
Hi Tarun. Great review of the Kerr K300. Jes Kerr will be very pleased with by it. I'd like to see you review the Enleum amp23r as a speaker amp. Needs fairly efficient speaker to really shine but it's pretty damn good with my Audio Physic Midex 89db 4ohm. It's small but the sound is world class.
How about a review of the Theoretica Applied Physics BACCH4Mac Stereo Purifier? Absolute Sound just named this product of the year and say it’s a breakthrough. Would love to hear your analysis

Hi Tarun, amazing review yet again. I would like to hear your take on the monitor series of Harbeth (say the m30.2 xd) - they are a not as woolly as their reputation suggests. And some different amplifier and speaker technologies - maybe SET amplifiers and high efficiency horns or single driver speakers. Cube audio is considered one of the best driver and speaker manufacturers in the world at relatively attainable prices so would be great to hear your thoughts. Keep it up. I think once you get into the four or 5K range and have a very good front end, there are many many excellent choices. I’m glad Tarun is reviewing in this price class. Excellent video all around. There are dozens of products I would love to get your take on. I'll mention just a few: Graham Audio LS 5/5, Borresen X1, the smallest MBL speaker, some panel speakers like Diptyque or the upgraded "X" version of the mid-level Magnepan. I could go on :)

Regarding your question of the week, I'd be very interested in your review of almost any planar magnetic or electrostatic speaker. Anything from Magnepan, MartinLogan, or really any brand, including hybrids that augment their bass output, would be fascinating. I own a pair of electrostats, I thoroughly enjoy them, and I'd be interested in your opinions, good or bad. As much as I love mine, I'm also quite aware of their challenges.

Superb review, as always. I can rest assured coming away from your vids both educated and more at ease about a future upgrade! Albeit more typical in brand, I’ve wondered what you’d find in the Cambridge Edge line of offerings (A or W). Also, something unique in any of the Orchard Starkrimson GaN amps, or even a Nilai Hypex amp 🙏🏼
They might not be as widely available in Britain compared to the US, but I would love to see you review Revel's different lineup of speakers. Like the Concerta2 M16, Performa3 M106, and PerformaBe M126Be.

Thanks Tarun, as always that was great. The AMT and ribbon tweeters I have heard all had problems with sibilance but as you don't mention this in either of the reviews I assume this isn't so much of an issue with the better quality ones.
There's very little out there about the Quad Revela 1 so that would be interesting.

It amazes me how much you pick up on from a review. When I’m assessing my system I mostly look for fine details and general realism and separation. You go into specific frequency ranges etc.
