Filtration (but you should know what is nitrogen cycle) is the key, basically mechanical and chemical filtration does the job to make your water crystal clear, but the thing is you gotta replace your carbor or the so called chemical filtration and make your regular water changes(it'snot 25% as he had said, ratherit dependson your stocking and nitrate level . I just put everything in short, way more to understand the aquarium chemistry in attaining crystal clear water.
