In my recommendation, it is Prep that I suggest however there is another company called Scholar Dental that offers online classes as well. Do kindly check them too. Unfortunately The Tooth Factory is still constructing our AFK course which is why we may not be of any help to you as of now but come next few months we are launching a website with individual subjects as courses considering someone has a weaker one subject over another and we will end with a comprehensive AFK course as well.

Hello doctor, so you’re on the right track with thinking the preparation at home is not impossible and it can be done by reverse engineering the MCQs from NDEB’s website however, it is important to know that the questions are from previous exams and not current and updated concepts. So it can help you get started but it is not the only thing I recommend. I do believe approaching a targeted course is valuable. I understand that majority of the courses are extremely expensive. Hello doctor, yes for sure in your case JADE academy would be benefit your purpose and I personally feel online ie better as you can study as your comfort and save time for transport and preparation before and after classes. Hello doctor, So if you pass all the exams which include AFK, ACJ and NDECC. Then you must opt for the written and OSCE board exams. Once those are cleared, you can become a licensed dentist in Canada. Now to get a job as a dentist, you must hold a valid work permit. And that can be offered only by your employer or the government. Which can then be used to get into the application for PR.

Hello Doc, Hygienist is better when it is with a degree since your career would expand further for example you can teach along with practice if you have a degree and with a diploma you cannot teach you can only practice. But for student visa sakes, diploma should be sufficient if that is your goal.

Hello Rajesh Yadav, so the very first step in becoming a dentist in Canada using the NDEB process is to have a BDS degree from your home country. If youre coming out of grade 12 and wish to become a dentist in Canada, you must go through 4 years of BSc and then 4Years of DDS. You will also need a PR to do DDS in university. Hello, we apologise for the delay, the video content on MPH and MHA is almost complete and production shall begin this week. You can expect videos to drop mid week. There will be two videos, one for MPH and one for MHA, just like the dental hygiene video we posted last year. COVID must have been devastating with your academics although, even though you have not attended clinics in third year, if you were to choose dental hygiene, you will develop clinical skills here studying the course, you need not to worry. And if you feel strongly about MPH or MHA after viewing out video, then choosing non-clinical may turn into a career. If you ever choose to lead to DDS after student visa ends, you will need clinical skills to pass exams. That is where courses like hygiene may help. So there is pros and cons for both options. But do not worry, once you view the content of MPH and MHA and compare it with content of Dental Hygiene, you may have a better depth of understanding of where you wish to sail. Sorry again, we are a tiny company still and we have not forgotten you.

Hello, no doctor it is not a must to take the courses in order to crack the AFK. It totally depends on two things. 1.) an organized amount of time period you dedicate to the studying and 2.) the topics you focus on which enhance the scope of AFK and thereby you don’t spend time studying what is not important. Other than that you do not need classes. Although having classes takes care of both points I mentioned above. A regular AFK class can range anywhere from 4000-5000 dollars CAD depending on which one you choose.

Hello doctor! Glad to see you beginning the NDEB journey! Congratulations! Yes you are right the NDEB process’s coaching is absolutely amazing expensive. And to help answer you questions, may I know if you have applied for AFK exam date? If yes, you may want to look into the CIBC’s Internationally Trained Dentist Funding Program. For AFK it sanctions $10,000 - $25,000 line of credit for us. Otherwise, yes you can begin preparation at home by going through NDEB references by attempting remembered and posted questions from NDEB’s website. What you can do if open that PDF document of all questions and use each question as a note making topic. And write a flash card for each question. That is a method which will allow you to cover NDEB’s given resources. Taking classes are always a good choice because they offer targeted studies for the AFK exam itself and it saves you time in overall preparation. Some good classes are: - JADE - PREPDOCTOR - SCHOLAR DENTAL - DSTC And I would name our own course but unfortunately it is under construction right now and may take a few months to complete and be copy written. Hello doc, even though dental decks is dense with knowledge and information, for NDEB, dental decks are not necessary. They may be more useful for the INBDE of the USA.
Can I submit AFK test results from previous years? What I mean to ask is till how long is the AFK test result valid for getting admission in unis for DDS?
That’s a good question, so each university works differently however most want latest AFK scores from the most adjacent cycle during your application stage.

Yes you are right the NDEB process’s coaching is absolutely amazing expensive. And to help answer you questions, may I know if you have applied for AFK exam date? If yes, you may want to look into the CIBC’s Internationally Trained Dentist Funding Program. For AFK it sanctions $10,000 - $25,000 line of credit for us.
Otherwise, yes you can begin preparation at home by going through NDEB references by attempting remembered and posted questions from NDEB’s website. What you can do if open that PDF document of all questions and use each question as a note making topic. And write a flash card for each question. That is a method which will allow you to cover NDEB’s given resources.
Taking classes are always a good choice because they offer targeted studies for the AFK exam itself and it saves you time in overall preparation. Some good classes are:
- JADE
- PREPDOCTOR
- SCHOLAR DENTAL
- DSTC
And I would name our own course but unfortunately it is under construction right now and may take a few months to complete and be copy written.

Is dental docks necessary to buy
Hello doc, even though dental decks is dense with knowledge and information, for NDEB, dental decks are not necessary. They may be more useful for the INBDE of the USA.
Can I submit AFK test results from previous years? What I mean to ask is till how long is the AFK test result valid for getting admission in unis for DDS?
That’s a good question, so each university works differently however most want latest AFK scores from the most adjacent cycle during your application stage.
