সতীমার মেলা কল্যাণী ২০১৮ ( দোল পূর্ণিমার রাত )/ SatI mar Mela Kalyani 2018 On Dolpurnima (Full View) :- This video gives you the total view of Satimar Mela 2018 including Satima Temple ( Satimata Mandir ) on Dolpurnima Rat i.e. on 1st March, 2018. Satimar Mela is one of the biggest Baul fair ( বাউল মেলা ) not only in Nadia District , but also in West Bengal. ‘Satimaayer mela’ is held in honour of Sati Maa on and from the day of Dol Purnima in March every year. It takes place at the temple of Sati Ma in Ghoshpara near the modern sub-divisional town of Kalyani. On this occasion, Sati Ma is worshipped by the members of Kartabhaja community ( কর্তাভজা সম্প্রদায় ), as a god-woman and the founder lady of their order. You know, Sati ma whose actual name is Sarasvati, wife of Ramsharan Pal, was a successful leader of the religious community named Kartabhaja ( কর্তাভজা ), also known as the Kartabhaja Sampradaya ( কর্তাভজা সম্প্রদায় ), literally, ‘the Worshippers of the Master’. The founder of this community was Aulchand or Aulechand (c. 1686-1769), about whom very little is known. Kartabhaja is a sect of the Bouls of Vaishnavite faith. This nightlong fair is held on the previous night of Holi. This video was recordered on that night.
