My boys still volunteer with the SAL with post 94 in Stevi. I love the Bitterroot community. They surrounded us and loved us when my husband died.

Montana reminds me of Colorado in the 70’s. Montana is lucky to still have ranches and smaller towns. Colorado has become over crowded and they keep throwing up these high rise apartments in mall parking lots that the people who work there can’t afford.
Well done. Ranchers and farmers are the core strength of the USA. Having said that, and with all due respect to Carharrt, I think their products should all be made in the US the way they once were.
There is literally nothing you can do as a company that is more pro america than moving 100% of manufacturing to the USA. Its good for the workers, good for the economy, good for the clothing. Rough for the consumer but theyre already overcharging for their stuff
Did a roadtrip through the mountain states in September/October (A lifelong dream) and boy , it was better than I could have imagined !! From Idaho to Montana, to Wyoming and back to Idaho through Oregon - incredible ! Super friendly people , breathtaking scenery , water everywhere , unlike where I come from in Australia . Horses , pick up trucks , barns and beautiful towns of Couer D'Alene , Butte, Billings. Bozeman (Gibson factory closed on Sunday - darn it !) , Bucket list Livingston where we had a beer or two , next to the Montana watch company no less - thanks Jimmy Buffett . Cody, Yellowstone , Twin falls , Pocatello , Boise (and a beer at the Old State saloon !) on the Bend , then Portland . Not a bad day was had , and re-affirmed my love of the US !
I know that feeling of not wanting your surroundings to change. I live by farmland and I hope it stays that way for my lifetime. I treasure the unobtrusive view of sunrises and harvest moons. Out where there are no streetlights to outshine the stars. Seeing fireflies and honeybees, hearing the serenade of cicadas, smelling the rain hitting dirt as it crosses that field., rainbows that you can see both ends to, walking barefoot among the clover and feeling the coolness of the earth. There’s nothing calmer to me than living among God’s creation here in the country.
The Bitterroot Valley is definitely a beautiful place to live it’s breathtaking. It is irreplaceable. I miss it all the way down here in Texas it’s not the same 😭😭
I live in Mexico, am an Ingennier active in IT so if there any place in US that i whish to live is in Montana, here in Mexico a born in a Rural community and I love the paceful places and I love work in fields farms .. good video thanks for sharing.
