@@hachihiraga I can't tell if you're trying to be sarcastic or if you're just making a random comment for no reason, but there's a pretty big difference between lifesteal and a heal. Yorick's Q healing doesn't scale with the damage he does, the heal is the same regardless, which is how it differs from lifesteal which is a portion of damage dealt.

A Yoric main trick is to lay the cage down before a minion gets into turret range or right after the tanking minion dies and the cage will actually pull agro from turret soaking up damage. I never see anyone other than Yorick mains do it

Even though I am a yorick main I usually just tank that 1st shot then de aggro. w is like your only escape tool.
@@pompom1421 you can use the wall like 3 times in a good push 2 to tank shots and 1 to tank escape. Not that I would ever stick around that long as the tower would be gone or someone would come to the lane
@@Sir_Lobo That's just an answer from a hypothetical situation with another hypothetical situation. As I said, this is me being cautious for a gank. yours is an if there are no enemies you would get to pummel a tower.

It's not a bug, I think the lifesteal actually comes from the effect of Ravenous Hydra on the Pets Yorick summons. The cleave attack is physical damage, the item itself is providing the lifesteal for yorick based on the "Cleave" damage from his pets.
I laugh so hard at that Rengar's gank, the dude even flash to the wall xD

I started playing Yorick in Ranked due to his split-pushing power, because I like to take down towers. But man, the amount of unlucky games I got after 2 great ones is unbelievable.
It makes climbing near impossible too. Even if you win 60% of games, you really need to win more like 75% otherwise you'll stagnate.

Had no idea the Herald can crash the Nexus and also had no idea it did a little dance during the victory animation.
There's even a challenge for achieving that, I believe.

You healed a lot in the fight at 14:50 because of Conqueror alone. You stacked it fully, which granted you a ton of AD and 8% "omnivamp" against champions. Ghouls apply spell effects as AoE damage, and the "omnivamp" granted by Conqueror is not reduced for AoE damage, you heal based on the *full* damage dealt vs champions (hence the quotes). Each Q and each auto healed a lot because of Conqueror "omnivamp" + Hydra life steal. Ghouls do not apply on hit effects. You were also about 5 levels ahead of them all. A fed Yorick is nearly unstoppable in the sidelane. He has some of the highest single target damage in the game.
Edit: forgot Ignite. Likely the Ghouls applied life steal.

You could also do Divine as mythic if you're lane opponent is a tank (hp) like sion, gaining premitigation lifesteal + sheen proc.

As a humble Yorick main, might I suggest taking ghost over flash if you play this again? So much of his kit is rushdown so flashing to land 1 Q doest often guarantee the kill. Pair it with the MS from landing E and no one can outrun you

When you don't understand how the champion works so you assume something is a bug. Yorick ghouls apply on-hit, which means they can lifesteal and crit. They don't proc things like demolish though, but they will apply stacks of conq and other keystones. So yeah, not a bug, just kind of busted if utilized this way.

don't mean to flame but in case you're interested in playing this: it's way better to buy the pickaxe and a sword or vamp scepter and pickaxe and finish tiamat last as it gets you wave control

Yeah theres actually a challenge for "dancing with rift at enemy nexus" aka win with rift herald. I believe you can complete the challenge in bot matches if you want to get it pretty easy.
