This is the beauty of liszt, something virtuosic is what most people think and yes his early lifetime was full of virtuosity. But this, this is truly the greatest compositions of his middle-late period. It combines his early virtuosic aspects with his more modern harmonic and poetic style. This is by far the best recording too. Thanks for uploading
How do you make these videos? Like I honestly appreciate these, since they help me visualise pieces better sometimes (i switch between sheet music, this and guessing by ear).
Liszt is undoubtelly the most original inovative and based composer of the 19th century!
I like how Liszt sat down at his piano one day and said: “Imma make one of the world’s most beautiful pieces. Why not!”
Please upload more videos like this you actually are underrated
please never stop this channel, every video is amazing!
One of the greatest liszt pieces. So modern, but so romantic at the same time... Great work
One of my favorite classical pieces at all time...

The opening sounds like modern piece
Liszt was really ahead of time!
The opening is atonal, this in such a lyric piece as this Sonetto is impressive. Liszt was a genius
7/9 chord at 0:12, next chord is a 7/sharp 9 I believe.
