I live near indy and go every year and I must say. I miss the oval. It just doesn't feel the same now.

This was a great Brickyard 400 for cot standards
Jeff Gordon would've won his fifth Brickyard 400 in this 2011 Brickyard 400, if he had enough speed to catch Paul Menard. If he did he would win his six and final Brickyard win in 2014
Thank God he couldn't manage it so Paul could achieve his only Cup Series win.

Wasn't dale Jarret the first to kiss the bricks? How was Gordon the first nascar driver to win here then?
Gordon won 1st in '94 but when Jarret won in '96 he started the tradition
