hello! i’ve tried connecting my vanko leisure 3 projector through the EZCast app through scanning the code, and it didn’t work. i’ve also tried connecting it through an mhl chord with an iphone charger connected to that and that doesn’t work either unless im doing something wrong. i selected it to HDMI and it doesn’t work. i’ve tried going to settings and to wifi and hotspot but idk what to do there. instructions aren’t clear or they’re just different. i selected “trust this device” and it still doesn’t work! please help!!
Hello Alaina, VANKYO's Leisure 470 model have a built-in WiFi module, so we tell our customer to go to the WiFi settings to connect to the projector's hotspot. If you have a basic Leisure 3 module, this way will not work.

Did exactly what you said. When i entered screen mirroring Mine just says no signal. It wont connect to a wifi or anything so now what?
Hello, is your model Leisure 470? The screen showed " No signal" after you selected “Screen Mirroring” as the input source? If yes, please contact us at support@ivankyo.com for a replacement.
If I am guessing wrong, please make a short video of your model and the issue, then send it to the same email address for further analysis.

Hello, please try to connect a soundbar(with Bluetooth function) to the projector's audio port with the AUX cable, then connect your AirPods with the soundbar via Bluetooth.
I have done this, but every time I go to the screen mirroring only sound comes out no picture at all
Hello, some apps such as Netflix, Hulu has HDCP protocol to protect their digital copyrighted contents, therefore the picture may not be mirrored to the projector. You can use a Fire TV stick to watch movies from these platforms to the projector. TH-cam has no restrictions. And if you need any further assistance, contact the support team.

How can you do wide screen from Netflix? In youtube it does widescreen automatically. But in Netflix it doesn't
Hello, this is the limitation of the Netflix app itself.
Mine does not give me the option for android or iOS. It used to but not anymore. I have done factory reset, pushed ok on multiple occasions and still doesn’t work. I am constantly having to reboot or it’s another issue every time. Not a very good projector. I would highly recommend Epson. Not one single problem in 5 years.
Hello Ryan, please check if your bought is Leisure 470C or Leisure 470. Leisure 470C is a basic model which does not have the option of screen mirroring for iOS or Andriod. If it is a Leisure 470, please report this issue to support@ivankyo.com. DO not worry.
Hello my leisure 430 will not connect with my huawei p30 lite, and like in the video I don't have the option for screen mirroring on the beamer. Any idea how to connect to my phone. And yes I buy the cable from c to hdmi for 20 Euro and still nothing happens.
Hello, Daniel. Leisure 430 has no built-in WiFi module, then of course it has no option of Screen Mirroring.
1. Please confirm with the seller that your Type-C to HDMI adapter can transfer data, not only for charging.
2. After connecting the type-c end to your Huawei P30 Lite, connect the usb end to power, and the HDMI end to the projector. Then, select HDMI as the input source.

Hello, I followed all your tips but it won't let me connect to the projector's wifi. It gives me a "cannot connect to the internet" message.
I was also wondering how I can change the resolution to 1080p? when I connect the HDMI (included in box), it's a standard 720p.

Hello, is your projector VANKYO Leisure 470? 1. If you got a "can't connect to the internet" message, please make a short video about your operation and send it to support@ivankyo.com for further analysis. 2. The native resolution of Leisure 470 is 1280x720, but it supports 1080P video input source. You can check this from the user manual.
Connecting off cell data will not play any movie apps I have.
Hello, if you use cellular data to mirror, please to not turn it off. If you want to turn off the cellular data, please check from 1:20 to 2:57 to mirror the content via WiFi.

Hi im lost i have and Android 5 g cell phone i was able to connect my projector to my home wifi and i see that the projector has my info but thats all i cant get the last step where you say screen mirroring on the cell and click on the internet info the projector is telling me to connect it to my router and i dont want that i want it on my hp chromebook or on my android cell....

Hello Sasquatch, some videos on Netflix or Hulu do not support projection due to their copyright restrictions. However, you can use a TV stick or Chromecast, or connect a laptop through HDMI to play the contents you desired.
Just smart View on your phone
Smart View is the option on Android phone which can mirror screen.

Hello Brezionnes, DO NOT WORRY. Could you please try to restore your projector to factory reset and then try again? If the projector still doesn't pop up after the factory reset, then there may be an issue with the screen mirroring module inside. Please make a short video and sent it to support@ivankyo.com to report your issue. Our technical expert will find the right solution for you(including getting a new replacement).
