The scythe reminds me of my time as a child in East Yorkshire when the men would harvest the wheat using a scythe to cut the corn which would be stacked in stooks to be gathered by horse & trailer then taken for threshing to remove the corn from the stalks. Now it's all done in one operation by Combine Harvester. Beautiful to see the boys enjoying great wholesome food. Happy Days
