No 1 rifle is a modern copy of the farquardt action
Surprised it didn't happen sooner
I've learned not to pay attention to the negative comments. Gun snobs are crybabies. Ive NEVER bought anything i didn't like and this thing is awesome. Fully capable ruger for 399? Yep!
Thanks Eric! This video has a 98.8% thumbs up, which is my average. It makes negative comments irrelevant! Lol!
I'd be in for an RxM-c, a 43X version of this. Get on it fellas
Glock should have done all of this years ago. Kind of sad that a grate company like Glock got outdone by Ruger, at least it wasn't KelTec.
Glock depends on a lot of social status to get people to pay extra
Looks nice. I really wish manufacturers would stop cutting the top of the chamber to make a LCI. I’d probably put in a Glock or Shadow Systems barrel to keep my optic clean.
Looks like Glock & SA had a baby lol
Star Date 2074: "Grandpa, can you tell me the story about when Ruger built that Glock, again?"😂
Sorta resembles a Stoeger ST9. But having saifd that. I always like your vids. They are full of good INFO! Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by Brother!
I think Ruger just made an actual Law Enforcement duty gun !
Not with a 3.5 lb trigger they didn't
@ good point
@@GPG7754 Easy to put a heavier spring in for LE sales though.
They did that years ago with the P series.
They have made many unpopular duty guns in the past.
My biggest complaint with Glock is the grip angle. 1911 is a dream angle… Nice review. Thanks.
Thanks Brother
Not a Glock person but if I were to take the plunge, I'd probably buy this one. As other commenters have said, Glock should have made this instead. Magpul and Ruger partnering is a good thing for the pistol industry especially with the increase in FCU platflorms. Sootch00, great video as usual!
I'm digging this a lot.
Just picked it up on the way home. Love Ruger, love Magpul. Very happy with it so far. Thanks for the in-depth review!
Better sights, trigger, and optics mounting system than Glock. Can swap grip modules out like Sig and MSRP will inevitably be much less than $499. I’ll definitely be picking one of these up next year.
Street price is $399!
@@ninjagold9244wow😮that’s awesome! 👏🏻
Hey Sootch. Can you make a comprehensive video explaining silencers? I have watched so many videos online, but I always come out with more questions than answers. I always feel that I learn so much from your videos and I actually understand your explanations clearly. Thanks in advance.
When a glock, sig and p mag love each other...
After 40 years, you would think it's about time someone actually came out with a decent Glock Clone. Personally, I will stay with my Glocks.
The smith and Wesson M&p bruh.
The sigma lineage.
Shadow systems says “Hold my beer”
@@danrunner84 I just can’t get on board with shadow systems. Just seems like adding gold rims on a car with marginal improvement on performance.
M&p is leaner, I would argue more reliable, cheaper, more ergonomic, ima just stop there. It’s also half the price.
Everybody makes an improved Glock clone. Glock, "perfection", is very stale.
Thanks for taking the chassis/FCU out. It’s great to see how easy that is.
The Ruger Perfection
Oh yea….thats a good one.
LOLOL
Ruger designers sat down and said, “Let’s take this here Glock and make it what it shoulda been.” I’ve carried a Glock for 25 years. I’m a fan. This comes stock with a lot of things I’d do on the aftermarket.
That's about the trigger weight of the Timney Alpha.
The Ruger RXM is as much as just a Sig FCU. This is awesome
Can’t wait til a company like Icarus precision makes a metal grip module for this
You got that right
The slide is very well done. The second pistol now that I've seen using the Strike Industries optics mounting system. Baught a Strike slide around six years ago with this optic mounting system.
Ill wait till comp/ ported version comes out but will be buying
I went with Tactical Kenetics Spiral Fluted extended threaded barrel and a 5 Port Comp. Price was $430 shipped. I had to have a match grade barrel with traditional rifling instead of the Polygonal rifling Glock and H&K use.
I Was Going To Get A Glock 19,
But I Think I Will Get 1 Of
These Instead... I Like The
Light Rail, The Red Dot Cutout
& The Use Of Glock Mags...
I'm buying!!!
its been almost a decade, love your reviews. Thanks and stay healthy.
Did Ruger just 3D print a Glock? Lol 😂
I love how many platforms use OEM glock mags.
Lots of options that are all supported by a quality mag
Homeboys on the skreet will still call it a Glock.
As will bubba and all the boys in the trailer park.
Kamala has one... 😂
Wow. Finally a factory tri-top cut on a plastic gun. The chassis system is a fantastic advantage.
Its like a p320 but drop safe 😊
And rainbows are just like German Shepherds....
If Ruger gets it on the Unconstitutional CA Handgun Roster, I'd buy one of these! I like the extended beavertail, optics cut slide, and 1911 grip angle!! With Magpul GL mags that are dirt cheap! Awesome!!
More ergonomic than a Glock, and a chassis system that doesn't go off in your holster like a Sig. Ruger for the win!
The Glocker RXM
I have always loved and own many Glocks and Rugers, so this is for me, I will definitely buy this.
Like it would be nice if they did a 10mm.
And a 40 S&W…
@@christ6463a 10mm gun can fire 40 S&W. Why make a 40 that can’t fire 10mm?
Nice review Sooch. The instant I saw the gun I thought "Glock clone" and almost didn't watch. Buy you addressed the benefits of the similarities and pointed out the differences very well. I'm intrigued.
PSA labeled Ruger
Not even close.
Finally a Ruger semi-auto striker fired that looks worth a second look.
Man and people complained about the p89 being ugly..
I don't that the P89 is an ugly gun, and i wish that Ruger could bring this gun back.
@@joaopedrobaggio4475 it has this rounded block look, like a soap bar. It was a tank though! I think it was my first or second handgun and had a lot of neat features other things didn't. Theyre still out there and one of the most affordable 9s that can be found
I was getting some vibes that Ruger was getting ready to offer something along the lines of a Security 9 Gen2. I guess this is it, and I like it.
Rmx or rxm ??
Thanks for pointing that out. Unfortunately it is what it is. Thanks Bob
RMX should be the bicycle that comes with the gun, extra Christmas present
It's both
Ruger manger made a hand gun that uses Glock mags!!! Okay, sign me up as a Ruger fan. Never seen this kind of practicality from any of the Bigs but it makes sense and kudos to Ruger because companies do this at PCC but never with handguns.
Hold off on buying until the standard new Ruger product recall comes out. Should be ok in about 6 months.
Sootch has the best intro music. Doo doo do do doo doo do do 😅
Glock clone
Definitely
So this is the companion to the ACR? Finally we can complete the set!
Lets be honest. Glock clones are really boring. This model has zero buying appeal to me.
I still really enjoy my Ruger SR9. Which I would buy anyday over this model.
Like the chassis system. But still won't buy the pistol.
Maybe they should have styled the slide after the sr9c and given it ambi slide release and ambi mag release. Looks like they may have left an almost pre-marked detail on the left side to cut out for a reverse-able release. SPN Firearms would be in love with a g26 sized version with an sr9 type slide. Glock better show up next month with a gen 6 chassis version with adjustable grip like the vp9, optics mount like the echelon, aggressive slide serrations like a pdp and back to the true polygonal bore.
I always come to sootch00 when I need a new gun. Thanks sootch been a fan for years
If it walks like a Glock and talks like a Glock just buy a Glock.
Better grip angle on the Ruger. Better sights on the Ruger. Better trigger on the Ruger. Serialized modular chassis on the Ruger. The Ruger costs less than the Glock and also fits most Glock holsters. Many aftermarket as well as Glock parts fit the Ruger. Given all that, why are folks still buying Glocks?
Glock fanboys quickly becoming this century's fudds. "bUt muH 1911"
Nice simple rig, reliable,rugged, RUGER!!
Ruger nailed it and may have perfected the Glock "perfection". Now if we can only find these locally and not some limited run type release...
At first blush it's kind of silly, but I gotta admit your video made it pretty compelling. It looks like a well thought out unit.
So Magpul ergos and polymer, Ruger reliability, the optics mounting of the echelon, and the chassis of the 320, and the design of glock... Nice.
Can’t believe there are newly designed pistols without ambidextrous controls.
Honestly not bad at all. I'm liking it more each time I see it.
I don’t really care about the grip angle, I just like that it’s a Glock with a chassis system. Finally we’re gonna have a full metal Glock. Can’t wait for the aluminum grip frames.
Another Glopy? Just what we needed!
I’ve been on the fence about getting a Glock 19; I have a G26 and G43 that have served me well, but I want a compact option.
I think I’m sold on this Ruger, all my Glocks I have to Dremel on for an undercut, and the Glock just doesn’t have the niceties of this Ruger.
Glock, what are you doing? Listen to what the people want and stop losing your own market share. You gotta move into 2024, you’re losing my money here to Ruger, I think the future is bright for this concept.
