I liked the first pour... but you're right, the second one really pops! 🤘

I love these, they also remind me it's ok to make mistakes which is much appreciated

Rewatched your Dagger of Amon Ra play through w/ LGR just the other night! A pleasant coincidence to hear that track here ;-)

I'm glad that you repurpose all that paint from failed attempts. Pretty sure I remember you saying that.

Yes, I certainly try to. I can't always use everything, but that goes for most art that has leftover elements, but I do what I can.

@@PushingUpRosesArt Fair, you can't be expected to be able to save every bit of leftovers to reuse. I'm just glad that most of the pour artists I listen to mention doing that because I hate how wasteful some people can be with art supplies.

i actually liked the painting at the 10 minute mark a lot. it reminded me of a night sky just after sunset. maybe something like looking into a pool reflecting the sky with a bright full moon on one side and the last glow of the sun on the other side, but the pool has just been disturbed by a pebble or something.
i also like the textured nature of the stairs in the final product too. i think i just generally like busy complicated art.

The colors were dark but it still made an interesting piece. I really like the white section.

I see a bird (cave is its eye), wings either side going off the edges (or edge? Only one edge in a circle, Peter.). Gorgeous as always.

Hi PushingUpRoses :) beautiful paint pour! I recently began paint pouring after taking a break for a while to gather up more painting supplies and waiting for the right time to paint. When I started again, I noticed that something was wrong, either with me (mainly because i took a break for so long) or the paint temperature or the paint in general (mainly the thickness) or the temperature in the new room I was in. The paint would dry badly and I would be upset at the amount of paint I was wasting, the paint would dry in huge cracks or gaps around the canvas and I don’t know what’s wrong. I somewhat lost the joy in paint pour because of this problem and I keep paint pouring but the same thing keeps happening, I look back at my old paint pours and I notice that they are so much better then the ones I’ve been pouring and idk what to do. Any tips?❤️

I really liked the blue peacock feathers you had on the left there. Is it possible to set out to make a deliberate shape like that? I'm also fascinated by the way the drip mat beneath the painting sort of looks like mossy stone as it gets dripped on more and more. Good for you finding a use for starbucks cups.

I love how different the effects are from small tweaks to the technique. Second one looks very biological-maybe coral?
