Here's a cool thing i found out, the order you put your rings matters sometimes, if you have a ring with a "start of the game" passive, say for exemple you have 2 rings one draw 2 spells at the start of the game and the other reduce your spell cost by 1, if you put the second before the first you will not benifit from reducing spell cost, it might also affect some rings that gain atk % in the game start (didn't verify it) thought its a cool tip might as well share
Please make more of this kind of content, maybe some more specific/class dedicated builds. Im particularly interested in your take on a Tamashi Ambar build
Great video I think you should include that some rings(like the 5%crit common) have triple equipment per level scaling =150% attack when leveled giving you more then some of the start of fight stuff
Attack builds get very interesting since there's so many options based on if you are trying to scale more attack before or during the fight. It ultimately depends on if you're running 15 cards or not. Good insight though my friend~
You are the best Waven content creator on TH-cam. Keep up the good work, I check your channel manually every day for new videos, just in-case the alerts don't work.
After watching your video, my mind just blowed, BUT, there's one case that keeps bugging me. The S'ardine Armband and the Ermit Armband. The Sardine gives you 5% of your max health as Armor, and it uses ur base hp BEFORE the fight for it. The Ermit Armband does 5% of your max HP as bonus dmg, BUT, it uses your hp AFTER all the bonuses calculations in fight. Btw, just discovered your channel and im glad i did. Congrats and ty.
WOAH good info on those 2 armbands! Those are staples for HP builds~ Ermit is lowkey nice. I really wish these armbands gave %HP per level as a rune bonus!!
The video content is clear and concise, which is extremely helpful for beginners. Finally, there is an English tutorial. Looking forward to your next video.😃😃😃
Hey nice vid, started playing a couple of days ago and it was really usefull! Could you also do a vid about farming builds? For instance, the Orrible Ring and Kalibur Armband both have bonus to all 3 types of chests as an upgrade. I was wondering if there is any other equipment / companion as well, and what class would benefit from playing with those Keep up the good work!
YES!!! This is in the works!! I have really been eyeing builds that can take advantage of rings that give super chests. I need to get some more equipment runes but don't fret, my friend. I will be all over this soon enough
Do Sram traps scale with spell damage? The only reason I have any doubt is because trap damage doesn't count as "killing an enemy with a spell" for mission objectives.
Great video, very indepth. Something has been bugging me, what about explosion damage increases like in fuego ring? Which spells does it increase the damage off? Can it increase the damage of fire owl aura? And how is crit calculated for spells and attacks?
Attack is the melee attack your character performs when moving. Spells that say "ATTACK your enemy" or "50% of your ATTACK is applied" is using the same stat that you use when moving to melee
Ahaha! I come from a game where all stats are multiplicative from previous bonuses so it was interesting to find a difference between before fight bonuses and during fight bonuses
When you equip a brooch it spawns a special boss into your dungeon battles. If you are victorious. It’ll give you Wakfu Fragments which can be traded for level 50 chests or runes at Barbrok island shop. As for drops they’ll drop as you run dungeons.
I tried to make an PvE earth / water Iop that can heal a lot using rain, it has the ring that heals 50% of the attack at the beginning of the turn, the ring that rains on KO, the ring that drains life with rain, with gelano, I have put in attack 50+20+20+20, in life 50+20, there are some shoulder pads that increase the damage and rain, I wonder what items you would recommend, stats, I am a little lost as soon as I have it at level 39, It has attack 71 and life 820.
That sounds completely fine. You could go the Scarifyer ring for even more sustain. It also has an equip rune upgrade to increase heals by 30%, improving your rain heal effectiveness. It is a legendary ring which will require much investment
Fire owls aren't counted as explosions, so this wouldn't apply. Unless there's something unique with the calculations. So far we have found some really weird interactions with data to make numbers correct. It wouldn't surprise me if this did affect it, however I haven't seen evidence to support that.

REALLY!? I will test this on stream! Nice observations! Thanks for the comment!

I'm trying that now too! I'd love to see thrift in a tamashi giude/build
For sure! It's super hard to get to 30 consistently on characters but im trying my best to get there and try out builds!

Thanks so much for the kind words! I am glad to provide what I can to a great game and community

Thanks for the kind words and love! I'm glad you found this informative and helpful!
Even if Dofus and waven are french games , I didn't find a video as nearly as good as this one there, to explain stats thanks a lot
Thank you so much for the kind words!!!

Super interesting, thank you!
Absolutely! I hope we can all find some more interesting mechanics :P

Nope, they scale with the spell level. Next time you level a trap youll see the number in the parenthesis go up, thats the damage they do
@@Thriftshoppin Gotcha. Thanks! I guess I'll stick to building attack or going for a push build.
What about elemental effects from companions? Some have stuff like explosion or hail. Does that scale with the hero's elemental damage as well?
Since their bonus is while theyre spawned (for example the birds have this bonus) it would be calculated with start of fight/start of turn bonuses
Great video, very indepth. Something has been bugging me, what about explosion damage increases like in fuego ring? Which spells does it increase the damage off? Can it increase the damage of fire owl aura? And how is crit calculated for spells and attacks?
Fuego ring would scale off fire spell damage since its a fire based skill
Do you guys know how to get rapid repositioning skill? Is it from an equipment
Yes there is a Krosmic armband called Marbleband that when you attack gives you Rapid Repositioning.
In rings that say “Attack: increase you atk in 5%” or similar. What is defined as attack? only mellee atack or spell is an attack too?
Only melee when you move your character (companions attacks sometimes do count too for some effects)
Attack is the melee attack your character performs when moving. Spells that say "ATTACK your enemy" or "50% of your ATTACK is applied" is using the same stat that you use when moving to melee
The video I did not know I needed to Watch
Ahaha! I come from a game where all stats are multiplicative from previous bonuses so it was interesting to find a difference between before fight bonuses and during fight bonuses
Can you make a Brooch video Tutorial please? what are they, how to obtain and what are they good for? Reward drosp etc? That woulkd be aqwesome
When you equip a brooch it spawns a special boss into your dungeon battles.
If you are victorious. It’ll give you Wakfu Fragments which can be traded for level 50 chests or runes at Barbrok island shop.
As for drops they’ll drop as you run dungeons.
What @all_Night said, brooches are tougher fights starting at level 30. The higher level you are the more rewards youll get.
this actually good
this shit is so complicated and intrincate I now think Dofus is not that bad

Ah the death orb ring would be good for collusion as it has 20% mods for all 4 elements.
ooooh.. plus neutress is a nice summon at some point. Good idea!
Hello, does the rings that have the modifier "20% to explosions" count for the fire owl auras? for xelor
Fire owls aren't counted as explosions, so this wouldn't apply. Unless there's something unique with the calculations. So far we have found some really weird interactions with data to make numbers correct. It wouldn't surprise me if this did affect it, however I haven't seen evidence to support that.
