It's actually a clever design from an engineering standpoint, when you're diving per say or on the go, you generally view your watch from an angle so the date is placed to accommodate that viewing angle. From a functional standpoint for its intended use and as a tool, it makes sense to me. I'll be picking one up as soon as they're discounted of course.

Taking away the Marinemaster from the classic old MM300 and placing it on this case which does not have any design element of the original MM300. This new case just looks like the other Seiko's recent releases. Very disappointing. What a loss to all the Seiko and MM300 fans. To Seiko management and the designers: "Have you all been drinking too much sake and having too much fun for the nights?"
The old MM300 was terrible to wear. It’s flipped countless of times by many people because the idea and look of the mm300 was sexy, but it wasn’t a watch people actually liked wearing in the long term.

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. AMZWATCH watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

No monobloc case. No ceramic. No on the fly micro adjust clasp. A lot of shortcomings for the new MM.

Unless you are a saturation diver this is better then the MM300 in every way

精工在想些啥，和那些6R的MM200一毛一样的外形，配个不一样的机芯就是MM300了？ 最简单的做法就是把SBDX023的壳型做得薄一点，盘面和bezel的尺寸完全不要变，那个才是经典的比例和尺寸，而不是这种明显不协调的设计！！！表盘太大，bezel太细，index太小，让这个表看起来太笨重
