- The God "Min" is an ancient Egyptian god of fertility and harvest. Min was represented in many different forms, but was most often represented in male human form, shown with an erect penis, and an up-held right arm holding a flail. The lettuce was his sacred plant, and a symbol of the God himself.

While were talking about gods / godesses of fertility. Who knew Friday was a day to celebrate womanhood? Friday aka Freitag in German is named after the Norse deity Freya. Godess of love and fertility, it is the only day of the week named after a female deity. Therefore a day to celebrate motherhood, fertility and womanhood.

Min is connected to Preapus in Greek mythology. Great information. Thank you. He's a king. Could he be another aspect of Osiris?
Close he is associated with Horus son of Osiris
Min is an aspect of Amun
Yet he is related to Osiris
This can be seen in funerary pyramid rexts

Le radici di questa divinità, sono da cercare nelle isole a Occidente (Sardegna -Sicilia), dove il membro maschile viene chiamato ancora oggi ...MIN-KA (Sardegna), e MIN-KIA (Sicilia) ... inoltre questo nome lo si deve mettere in relazione con la tribù dei MINI (Grecia) e la civiltà Minoica ( sono tutti popoli del mare) .
In principio era il "Menhir", chiamato così da una voce Bretone (Men-hiroddi = pietra lunga), che in Occidente in antichità aveva un significato un po' differente ma poi svolgeva tutti i suoi compiti riguardo la fertilità, allo stesso modo come in Egitto ...non è un caso che il dio MIN, è raffigurato e scolpito sopra un pilastro a forma di fallo eretto come il Menhir. ...cordiali saluti !

@@atum ... molto bene ! ... anche se certe cose non si trovano sui libri, la Sardegna offre tante possibilità per la ricerca ...gli accademici non lo diranno mai, ma ultimamente si parla del nome di Yahweh (tetragramma) ritrovato su un manufatto antico.
Senza la Sardegna, non si possono comprendere alcune cose che stanno presenti, in Egitto e nel mondo ...buona ricerca !
