- (CBS NEWS) After receiving gifts from congressional leaders, Mr. Biden and Harris participated in the traditional Pass in Review Wednesday (1/, during which they reviewed military troops at the East Front of the Capitol.
Mr. Biden and first lady Dr. Jill Biden, as well as Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, then got into separate cars, which will take them to Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The black limousine carrying Mr. Biden is adorned with the presidential seal and a license plate that says "46."

That is not true. This is a perfectly normal 21 gun salute. The reason four guns are sometimes used is simply as a backup. Here's a clip from George Bush's funeral showing that: th-cam.com/video/ndYwtZGzl4E/w-d-xo.html. Four guns are lined up but just three are used.
The whole idea that it is three times seven = 21. Seven shots are fired for naval casualties, three times that for land, and using three guns.
There is no difference between salutes for foreign dignitaries or the president. I tried searching up information and the closest I got was the US army center of miltary history: history.army.mil/html/faq/salute.html
There is zero mention of differences between foreign dignatary, funeral or presidential salutes.
If you came up with this idea yourself it means you are consciously choosing to tell a lie and you should stop it.
If you got it from somebody else, you should confront them with their lie. You could ask them for an example of a salute for foreign dignitary (shouldn't be too hard to find on youtube).
But that will be a waste of time because it is absolutely a lie. So confront them with why they are lying to you instead.

The 21 gun salute that they think they're referring to is 7 guns fired together 3 times, typically at funerals and places where these big cannons (there's only 10 left in the US) aren't located.
I just watched Trumps and Obama’s 21 gun salutes. Not the same thing. The inauguration gun salutes have 3 seconds intervals. Biden has 10 second intervals, and I only heard 10 shots.

This was done prior to him and Harris arriving at Arlington for the wreath laying ceremony, from what I understand. I'm wondering if they changed things up since they had fences lining the entire area, and heightened security, etc? Maybe they decided they just wouldn't do it at all?? Who knows?

First of all, Trump's salute was held right after inauguration with the Capitol in the background, whereas Biden's was at Arlington. People need to look for the one they did for Trump and compare them. Really look closely at the precision of one compared to the other in the way the military looked and performed as well as the condition of their uniforms and the condition of the soldiers. It is like night and day. You may think one was precision soldiers and one was actors/re-enactors.
Also, they did not play "Hail to the Chief" for Biden, but they did play it for Trump.

This IS a 21 gun salute. The intervals are just longer. When done for inauguration the intervals are supposed to be 3 seconds, not 10 seconds. Also this is a partial video. It was cut short. You are also incorrect about Air Force 1. Why didn't you know that AF1 is just a call sign and not assigned to a specific aircraft type? You do realise that there is a Presidential/VIP fleet which has several different types? When the flight is short haul or when the destination runway is too short for Boeing 747 operations then the smaller Boeing 757 (Boeing C-32) are used. No different to Trump using the USAF Boeing 757s as AF1.

Looks like a partial video. Both cannons were manned with military holding the next live rounds (in addition to the live rounds already prepared in the cannons).

I was a kid and made a speech about my grandpa for his memorial. Hardest thing I have ever went through, i cried uncontrollably but managed to to get through. I will never be as tough as him. There was a cannon in the park memorial but he got saluted

Wasn't this salute for the Ceremony of the Unknown Soldier (that was held inauguration day) which all the "ex-presidents" + Biden attended Wednesday afternoon? Biden didn't get a 21-gun salute. President Trump was given a 21-gun salute at Joint Base Andrews. This was probably the closest thing to a 21-gun salute that the military was agreeable to give Biden. Note that Trump left the White House on Marine One to arrive at Joint Base Andrews. He then left Joint Base Andrews on Air Force One. Why did Biden arrive in DC by private jet (rather than by Air Force One or another military jet)? Was he denied use? What is the 2nd impeachment attempt REALLY about?

Why is the salute for Biden taking place at a cemetery? I have not heard of 21-gun salute being performed at a cemetery unless someone has died. For instance, when we buried my father (a Veteran) at a Veteran's Cemetery when he passed away, a 21-gun salute was performed.
A 21 gun salute should not be confused with a 3 volley salute, which is what was done for your father's funeral. The difference is in the weapons used. Guns are cannons, and are used for the 21 gun salute. Rifles are used for the 3 volley salute. Rifles are not guns, hence calling it a 21 gun salute when rifles are used is incorrect.

That wasn't 3 second intervals or even 5 seconds for a funeral. With a stopwatch that was around 10 seconds.
The clock starts when the loader is back in ready position to load. The next gun fires 3 seconds from that point.
Why do the videos of this salute cut off while the officer is still holding another round? Is there another video showing the ending?
You can see the full video. It's not that hard to find if you look. The internet can be a good thing if it's used properly. I'll give you a hint... go look for the inauguration video, and fast forward to about the 14 minute mark. 21 shots fired.

You might think I was being rude but honestly, do you know how agonizing it is to watch people ask questions they could have answered for themselves, if only they would take the time to look the desired information up? We have so much information at our fingertips, yet we are lacking in wisdom and knowledge. Using research skills is something that should be honed by everyone, because it will teach them to think for themselves. It will expand their knowledge. In this day and age we desperately need more thinkers.

The REAL President will get a 4 cannon 21 gun salute at 3 second intervals per shot AT THE CAPITAL BUILDING on Inauguration Day. The Military refused to do that for Bidunce. The Military gave Bidunce a 3 cannon salute that was shot at 10 second intervals (that wasn't even 21 shots) at Arlington Cemetery. Bidunce is not the President of the United States. I saw Derek Johnson say that this is a funeral honor, but I disagree. The Army Regs state funeral cannon salutes have 5 seconds between each volley. This is ten seconds which, I also believe, is for visiting dignitary. This is the singular thing for me that will survive any gaslighting attempt by our enemies. The Old Guard would not be lax like that.
They only used 2 of the 3 cannons if you notice. This just proves the farce.
